Typically, Sheinelle, 45, and Dylan, 42, sit with Al Roker and Craig Melvin at the desk on Today Third Hour.

However, Craig, 44, and Al, 69, were joined by a different co-host on Tuesday morning, leaving only three people at the desk.

“And good Tuesday morning. Welcome to this Third Hour of Today,” Craig opened the show.

“I’m Craig, here with Mr. Roker, and our pal, or as Sheinelle would say, our ‘cousin of the show,’ Vicky Nguyen.”

“Yes, it’s an honor. Hello, good morning,” Vicky, 44, said.

“She is going to be with us for the whole hour today,” Craig said.

“Sheinelle is off and Dylan is taking part in that annual tradition.”

Dylan will most likely be back in the studio on Wednesday.

It is unclear how long Sheinelle is out for.

DYLAN’S ASSIGNMENT

Al went on to explain what Dylan was doing outside the studio.

“That’s right. Every year, just around this time, Dylan brings us a a parade preview,” he said.

“She is this morning live at Macy’s parade studio in Moonachie, New Jersey, with an exclusive first look at the new floats.”

He went on: “We’re going to see what’s happening at the 97th annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade next week.”

She then went on to interview someone who was in charge of the floats.

For the first time ever, the parade will have a “nature element” with Solo Stove that features a camping float.

There will also be a Wonka float, and a Good Burger one, as well as many others.

The Thanksgiving Day Parade will air on NBC at 8:30 am.
