In emotional scenes after she was blamed for Martin’s stall being set on fire, Ruby decided to leave Walford for good.
Visiting Martin’s grave for a last goodbye, Ruby prepared to disappear having sold the fruit and veg stall back to Ian.
But as she went to leave Stacey arrived and asked her to stay.
Declining, Ruby told her to let people blame her for Martin’s stall and let Lily get away with it.
Ruby handed over a plaque she’d had made paying tribute to Martin so he wouldn’t be forgotten and she asked Stacey to make sure it was put up somewhere in the Square.
“Goodbye Stacey Slater,” she said. “I’m going to miss you.”
With that she walked out of Walford forever with son Roman.
Actress Louisa told The Sun last week that she has left the soap after her comeback last year.
Speaking to The Sun, she confirmed her stint is now over – but is hoping for a return in future.
“I left EastEnders a couple of weeks ago,” she said.

Louisa was speaking at an event to launch the Pinner Telephone Kiosk Library and careers hub in Middlesex.
She first appeared on the soap in 2005 as the daughter of feared gangster Johnny Allen.
The actress stayed for a year before Johnny was k!lled off, leaving Ruby with his vast fortune and criminal enterprise.
She returned in 2018 having run into ex best pal Stacey Slater, and quickly re-establishing herself in Walford.
