Patrick Christys issues apology to veterans after ‘heartbreaking’ admission of Alec Penstone
Today I saw a clip that absolutely broke my heart of Alec. He’s 100-years-old, and I want to tell you a bit about Alec.
He joined the Royal Navy after promising his father he wouldn’t fight in the trenches after his dad witnessed the horrors of WW1.

He took part in the Arctic convoys to Russia. He played a vital role in the D-Day landings.
The man is a hero. And then on Good Morning Britain today, Adil Ray decided to press him a little bit further, didn’t he?

Alec said: “My message is, I can see in my mind’s eye the rows and rows of white stones of all the hundreds of my friends and everybody else that gave their lives for what?
“The country of today. No, I’m sorry, the sacrifice wasn’t worth the result that it is now.”
Adil Ray asked Alec: “What do you mean by that, though?”
We all know what he means.
In the last 24 hours 1,000 illegal immigrants crossed the English Channel. They’ll be in nice hotel rooms soon, ready for a life on benefits.
A Home Office whistleblower revealed that they were allegedly punished for refusing asylum to people like an Afghan man who has been repeatedly arrested for exposing himself in a children’s play park.
Heroes like Alec fought, in many cases died, so that idiots like David Lammy can stand in Parliament and demand reparations.
People are being banged up for social media posts. Heroes like Alec fought so that we could hand Britain over to this mob.
It honestly makes me sick. Thank you, Alec. Thank you for everything.
Thank you to all the brave men and women who lost their lives to fight for Britain. I want to tell you that I am so, so sorry that we let you down.
