Clarkson’s Farm star Jeremy Clarkson has shared a brutal verdict after Angela Rayner resigned as D3puty Pr!me M!nister.The deputy Labour leader admitted to Sky News’ Beth Rigby that she had failed to pay enough tax on a £800,000 seaside flat in Hove, East Sussex. Following her confirmation that she had referred herself to the PM’s ethics adviser, the report later found that Rayner did breach the ministerial code and “did not heed the caution” in legal advice she received.

In her resignation letter, Rayner penned: “I take full responsibility for this error. I would like to take this opportunity to repeat that it was never my intention to do anything other than pay the right amount.”

One person who was definitely not impressed was Clarkson, who posted on X after the announcement. He said: “We paid for Angela Rayner’s education. We paid her wages when she worked for the local council. We paid her wages when she became an MP. We even paid the settlement that enabled her to buy a house,” as he concluded: “Tax payers have funded every aspect of her entire life.”

One fan said: “Offer her a job at the farm,” as Clarkson replied: “Not a bad idea. Make her work all day. And then give 25 percent of what she earns to someone who can’t be arsed to get out of bed.”

Another posted: “‘I am a still small voice of calm and reason.’ – Jeremy Clarkson. I used to think this was one of your jokes but comparing how Starmer runs the government vs how you run your farm makes you look like a genius.”

Clarkson joked in response: “Ah but he doesn’t have to worry about the weather. Because Miliband has that covered.”

Another follower took a swipe as they penned: “And most of yours through the TV license.” Clarkson hit back: “Hahahaha. I’ve been with Amazon for nearly 10 years now. Paying tax to fund the likes of Rayner.”

When the news first broke of Angela underpaying her stamp duty by £40,000, Clarkson penned: “Crikey. The deputy prime minister of the UK has admitted she doesn’t understand how tax works. I wonder what else she doesn’t understand.”

He added: “I’m puzzled. Labourites tell us that Angela Rayner was only trying to look after her child which they quite rightly say is understandable. But when a farmer tries to look after his children, they say he’s a tax dodger.”
