Kelvin Fletcher and his family were back on screens for the latest instalment of Fletcher’s Family Farm, but it wasn’t long before the tears began to flow for the actor
Emmerdale and Strictly Come Dancing’s Kelvin Fletcher confessed “It broke my heart,” during a touching moment with his wife Liz and their children on Our Yorkshire Farm.
Fletcher’s Family Farm charts the journey of the soap star’s family who have taken the plunge and bought their own farm.
The ITV programme offers viewers an intimate look at their stunning 120-acre farm nestled in the scenic village of Wincle, near Macclesfield in Cheshire.
The series also delves into the private lives of the Fletchers – Kelvin, Liz and their four kids Marnie, Milo and twins Maximus and Mateusz.

In today’s episode (Sunday, January 5), emotions were running high as the star and his wife Liz couldn’t hold back their tears after clinching their first-ever cattle award at a Cheshire show.
Cheshire Live reports they attended the event with two of their children, Marnie and Milo, who assisted in leading the cattle to the judges.
While both kids were thrilled to be part of the action, Marnie was hit by a bout of nerves just before she led a calf named Cherry into the judging ring. Despite her jitters, they went on to secure first place, setting the tone for the family’s success throughout the day.
Reflecting off-camera on his pride, the former Emmerdale actor seemed overcome with emotion as he admitted: “I can’t explain the emotions I’m feeling.”
He recounted: “I was really nervous when I first went out and I was more nervous for Marnie and Marine said to me that she was ‘scared’ and it just broke my heart.”

Despite the anxiety, he pushed his daughter forward, encouraging: “Come on push through it, embrace the fear and she did.”
It wasn’t just Kelvin bracing himself – his spouse Liz was equally affected emotionally.
Already teary-eyed, she laughingly shared: “I’ve already got tears in my eyes which I knew would happen,” before getting emotional: “I just can’t because he makes me so emotional because he has so much to do and it’s scary, it’s nerve-wracking and to just stand there and there are all these other people that have been doing it for years,” Liz recounted her feelings.
Through her tears, she expressed her pride: “I’m just so proud, so proud of Kelvin and so proud of Marnie.” The family’s journey hasn’t always been smooth sailing.
Back in 2010, before their move to rural life, Kelvin faced a challenging time when he received unsolicited risque texts and images from fans, leading to a temporary separation.
Thankfully, they reconciled and pursued their shared dream of owning a farm. Now, viewers get to witness this dream becoming a reality for the family.
