Meghan Markle‘s recent appearance on MasterChef Australia has sparked fresh criticism, with TalkTV presenter Jeremy Kyle questioning why a Duchess would choose to appear on the cooking programme. Meghan, 44, appeared on Sunday’s episode of the show as a guest judge, filmed months ago when the Sussexes were in Australia. Expressing frustration over Meghan’s latest move, Jeremy said: “I’m old-fashioned. I’m a royalist. The thought that a duchess is on some MasterChef program trying to con the audience that husband gives a toss.
“I can’t have it. It’s not what the royal family was ever about in my mind.” Reacting to footage of Meghan’s appearance on the show, former police officer Peter Bleksley begged: “If you are going to show clips like that to me in future, could you please ensure that the production team supply vomit bags? How degrading. How far have you fallen to reduce yourself to that?”

During the episode, Meghan appeared surprised when she received a FaceTime call from her husband, Prince Harry. However, many have claimed the moment had been arranged in advance and that Meghan was aware of it beforehand.
Royal commentator Kinsey Schofield also delivered a scathing verdict on Meghan’s appearance on the show, claiming she was forced to include Prince Harry in the segment because she’s “irrelevant” without him.
She said: “The fact too that she has to bring Harry in because she’s irrelevant without him. She’s basically acknowledging how irrelevant she is without her husband.

“This woman is a control freak and she expects us to believe that Harry interrupts her shooting, her big return to reality television with a phone call. Absolutely not.
“She would chew him up one side and down the other if that were true. This was so fake, so orchestrated, and it was desperate. I’m tired. These guys are embarrassing me. I’m actually starting to feel sorry for them, but I’m not.”
Jeremy also pointed to a series of recent setbacks for the Sussexes, including Prince Harry losing his lawsuit against the publisher of the Daily Mail, as well as the couple’s split from Spotify and the end of their Netflix deal.
He argued: “It’s so patently obvious that nothing works. I’ve spent enough time saying, “Shut up.’ Now I just want to say, ‘Can you not see what people think about you?’ They can’t.
Peter was quick to agree with Kinsey’s brutal assessment, adding: “I love the word you use, desperate. That summed them up.”
