Strictly Come Dancing has welcomed three new hosts – Emma Willis, Josh Widdicombe and Johannes Radebe – into the ballroom
A new era has begun on Strictly Come Dancing as the first series without Tess Daly at the helm, and the first in more than a decade without her co-host Claudia Winkleman, launched.
Emma Willis, Josh Widdicombe and Johannes Radebe have become the new hosts of the BBC One dance show, after Tess and Claudia stepped down at the end of last year.
Stockport-born Tess, 56, presented the series alongside the late Sir Bruce Forsyth when it launched in 2004, while Claudia, 53, fronted its weekday companion show, It Takes Two. The latter eventually moved on to host the Sunday night results show alongside Tess and joined the main show every Saturday from 2014.
They then spent 11 years hosting the beloved Saturday night show together before they shocked stars and fans when, midway through the last series, they announced their plans to depart.
Strictly fans have since been waiting months to see the show’s first-ever hosting trio in the famous ballroom, with the wait finally over when the 2026 series launch show aired on Saturday (September 19).
