Kelvin previously revealed that he gets up at 5am to workout before Strictly Come Dancing rehearsals.

Kelvin has wowed Strictly fans with his sexy dance moves
Now he has revealed his health and fitness secrets in a telling interview, detailing his extensive gym regime.
Giving a run-down of his day-to-day life, Kelvin explained: “I’ll try and get into my local gym [before rehearsals].
“I’ll get up at 5-5.30 in the morning. Normally I wouldn’t be training that early, I’d be in at 7am, but you do what you have to do.”
He added: “It was a conscious thing in the first two weeks of training not to do anything too draining at the gym or on the legs, it was pretty much maintenance work.

“Then I start dance training at 10am, which would be until 10pm.”
Strictly has also had an impact on the Emmerdale actor’s diet, with Kelvin losing five kilos despite upping his calorie intake.
He also struggles to have his meals at regular times due to his dance training.
The star told GQ Magazine: “I probably eat about 300-350g of carbs a day. About 160g of protein, about 60-80g of fat, which I think is about 2,500-3,000 calories.

“Carbs get a bad press, but they’re pretty important. I’ve stayed pretty lean, I’m about five kilos lighter than I was a couple of months ago. Which is fine, I think – it helps with the dancing.
“I’ll have [dinner] at 10.30pm at night… That’s quite late at night to eat like that, but you can’t do everything.
“It would be great to have Tupperware and keep eating while I’m dancing, but my diet is taking second priority. I’ve got to make a compromise and if that means eating at 10.30pm, so be it.”

Kelvin admitted that his diet has had to take a backseat to the BBC dance show
Kelvin Fletcher and Oti Mabuse dance the rumba on Strictly Come Dancing
Before signing up to the BBC One dance show, Kelvin went to the gym three or four times a week to do resistance training, crossfit, and spinning.
The hunk was drafted in to the Strictly line-up at the very last minute after original contestant Jamie Laing suffered an injury during training ahead of the show’s launch.
Since then, Kelvin has wowed fans and the judges with his sexy routines – even making Strictly history when he and his partner Oti Mabuse were awarded two 10s in Week Three of the competition.
