Coronation Street Star Sally Carman SHARES About Her Famous HUSBAND, Causing This Morning Studio to Erupt

Coronation Street star Sally Carman stepped away from the cobbles to join soap expert Sharon Marshall on This Morning. During the Wednesday [August 13] episode, the actress who plays Abi Webster joined the famous sofa to discuss her character’s upcoming storyline, which she teased could end with a dramatic showdown.
This comes as Abi, who is married to Kevin Webster (played by Michael Le Vell), has been engaging in a steamy affair with his brother Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard). In a shock twist, Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) spots their daring public display of affection and uncovers their romance. However, as the actress opened up about the gripping plot, she interrupted the programme to acknowledge her husband, Joe Duttine, who was on set and watching behind the cameras.
As Carman gushed to Sharon: “My husband’s just there, hi babe,” the camera panned to her spouse and fellow co-star, who beamed and waved at his wife.
Joe, 55, also stars on Coronation Street as Tim Metcalfe, a role he has held since 2013.
Although the couple, who wed in 2022, regularly share loved-up photos on social media, some viewers were shocked to learn that they were together and shared their reactions online.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one remarked: “Married to Tim in real life #thismorning” Whilst another fan exclaimed: “Never knew that!”
A third highlighted: “Yes, not many people do, to be fair, they got married a few years back!”

The couple met on set in 2017 and after two years of engagement, they said their “I Do’s” with an intimate ceremony, which was postponed due to the pandemic and lockdown rules.

They had originally planned for a Christmas 2021 wedding, to which Carman previously opened up about and said: “I’m obsessed with Christmas, so when Joe said: ‘What’s your favourite time, when would you most like to do it?’ it had to be Christmas.”
They later had the reception of their dreams surrounded by their loved ones and co-stars, including Vicky Myers, Georgia Taylor and Sue Devaney.
Carman and Duttine haven’t welcomed any children together, but the actress is a proud stepmother to three children from Duttine’s previous relationship.
