Shortly before he ditched X, he wrote on the platform: “Say what you want about Aaron. He’s fictional, I play what I’m told to play.
“But please don’t think commenting about ‘Danny’ being ‘fat’ or ‘chubby’ will EVER bother me.
“I’m sat eating a greasy kebab AND a pizza, laughing at you whilst gulping a FULL FAT COKE you b****nds [crying laughing emoji].”
Danny recently returned to the Dales after a two-year break.
The actor accomplished a lot both personally and professionally in his time away.
He won I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! when it relocated to Wales amid the coronavirus pandemic.
He also had two children with his wife Steph – Albert and Edith.
Speaking to OK! about his recent return to soapland which coincided with Emmerdale’s 50th anniversary, he said: “I owe it all to Steph. I am so lucky. My return to Emmerdale has been made so much easier because she is so incredible.
“I am loving being back at Emmerdale but the days can be long sometimes and I can return home feeling very knackered!”
