Pat McAfee is finally breaking his silence when it comes to what he said about Mary Kate Cornett.
The Ole Miss student and her family are currently in the midst of fighting back over allegations that she was involved in an affair with her boyfriend’s father. It all began when X user @MAGAgeddon posted that Cornett allegedly became intimate with her boyfriend Evan’s father.
ESPN’s Pat McAfee briefly brought up the topic on his show.
McAfee appeared to make his first public comments about the controversy he’s found himself in after an Ole Miss freshman pointed the finger at him for helping to spread the untrue internet rumor about her.
The 19-year-old college student took aim at McAfee and other sports talk personalities that she said have amplified the bizarre rumor that she had been sleeping with her boyfriend’s father.
Pat McAfee addressed the controversy during his live “Big Night Aht” show at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh on Wednesday night.
The former NFL punter told the crowd that he would find “some sort of silver lining in a very terrible situation.”
He did not apologize, but he did say he didn’t want to be the cause of negativity.
“I’m cool with Brett, just like the current situation that is happening, where I have a lot of people saying that I should be sued. I want to say this: I never, ever want to be a part of anything negative in anybody’s life, ever. That is not what I want to do. For all of these events, you f***ing know it that my lawyers are Pittsburgh lawyers, and they’re in here tonight. I do believe that they have a suite here that I have certainly contributed to. They have the same mindset as me, empathy but understanding reality.
“For that whole thing that’s happening, I didn’t want to add any more negativity as it was taking place, like I did — we will try to figure that out and make some sort of silver lining in a very terrible situation. You can have that promise from me. It won’t be as impossible to be a fan of mine going forward.”

McAfee allegedly shared a false rumor about a 19-year-old Ole Miss student on his show.
The Ole Miss college freshman at the center of that vile internet rumor that gained traction in late February is now fighting back.
Mary Kate Cornett told The Athletic she wants “people to be held accountable for what they’ve done.”
She is looking to take legal action against ESPN and Pat McAfee, who touched upon the wild accusations made against her.

For those unaware, she is a female criminal in the game. Grand Theft Auto states that she did her time at a prison complex in the State of Leonida in the mid-2020s for an unknown crime.

Fans Have Waited A Long Time For Grand Theft Auto To Release New Game
After more than a decade of waiting, Grand Theft Auto VI is supposedly finally set to come out in 2025.
Despite their hopes for a release this year fading, the community remains engaged in hopes that a second trailer will be released in early 2025 and a release date of the actual game will come out.
With each passing day, the desire for more news grows stronger.
Hopefully, 2025 will give the fans what they so desperately want.
