Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could be forced to sell their California home as he faces a massive legal bill after losing his monumental privacy case against the Daily Mail. Sky News presenter Danica De Giorgio speculated the couple may have to offload the property to settle the huge debt. Speaking on Opinionated on the news channel, she asked: “Could the Montecito mansion soon have a for sale sign in front of it? Harry and Meghan are facing a devastatingly large legal bill after the Duke lost his legal case against the Daily Mail. A London court was told this week the publisher is seeking more than $60 million Australian dollars in compensation.”
She then cut to TalkTV host Mark Dolan, saying he says “it’s all over for the grifters”, as he spoke outside the Royal Courts of Justice in Central London. “Harry is always suing people and always losing,” he said. “He had a legal battle with the British government for armed royal security, which, in my view, is nothing to do with safety and everything to do with him wanting to have royal status when he’s in the UK…
“Then he started legal action against the publishers of the Mail on Sunday a couple of years ago, and changed his mind halfway through because he knew he was going to lose. [He] has to settle out of court to the tune of $3 million Australian dollars,” he explained.
Addressing this latest loss he continued: “This time, he loses categorically and completely, and decides afterwards to attack the verdict as a complete whitewash.
“Therefore, bringing into disrepute the entire legal system, which is represented by his father, the king, and effectively questioning the integrity of the judge, Mr. Justice Nicklin.
“The problem is that Mr Justice Nicklin is the same man who will decide whether Harry is responsible for unlimited legal expenses, both his own and those of the Daily Mail. Harry’s in trouble,” he said.

Things are moving quickly as The Daily Mail publisher Associated Newspapers seeks to recoup it’s costs after the High Court threw out the Duke of Sussex’s “speculative” privacy suit, citing a lack of evidence.
Following a two-day hearing the publisher confirmed it is demanding an upfront £10 million payment and asking the court to order Harry and his fellow high-profile claimants – including Sir Elton John and Liz Hurley – to cover the entire £34million legal bill for both sides.
The paper’s lawyers argued the claimants wasted substantial time and money pursuing shifting allegations without solid proof.
In response, Harry’s legal team called the eye-watering £34million sum “astonishingly high” and claimed the publisher is using its massive financial weight to punish the group for speaking out.
