BREAKING NEW: Prince Harry just can’t stop sabotaging himself
I was starting to like Prince Harry again last week, but his words today have left me cringing, writes Jasmine Carey.

Yet here we are, just days later, on a Monday evening, and my feelings about the prince are hard to determine. Because, yet again (am I surprised?), he has done something I know will have not just me, but the Royal Family, cringing too.
We all love a podcast, Harry included, so to be asked to go on Joe Marler Will See You Now was probably exciting for the Duke. And maybe it was that excitement that took over and left him yet again saying things a prince just shouldn’t say in public.
Not long after confirming his full royal name and listing his occupation as “Prince of England”, Harry began saying things that are better off said to the lads at the pub than on a podcast that could be watched by thousands.
One of these is explicit details of his grooming routine, which he describes as a “sh*t, shower, shave”. I actually cringed when those words came out of his mouth, not once, but twice.
Yes, I have heard that saying before. But not from the mouth of a prince on a public platform like that.
He may not be a working royal, but his words – and I’m not sure if he knows this – do end up plastered on websites and in papers around the world. They also most likely get seen by his royal relatives.

I am sure the King will, like me, have physically cringed to hear those words come out of Harry’s mouth. Along with all the other swearing, of course.
Again, I’m not saying Harry can’t have the kind of conversations men around the world have every day. And many things he said on the podcast, about his children and exercise and trauma, were very relatable and showed the side of Harry I really do like.
But he seems to always sabotage himself by forgetting that his words, because of who he is, will fly around the world quicker than it takes a microwave meal to heat up.
It was just days ago that I was seeing the prince laughing with fellow army veterans and talking about doing good, thinking that Britain could really do with the old Harry back – the one many loved and admired.
And now, unsurprisingly, just days later, I am cringing at why he revealed too much on a very popular podcast. He certainly felt at home talking to Joe Marler, but some of the things he said should have come out when the cameras went away. I wouldn’t be physically cringing, alongside many others, in that case.
I can only imagine what the King and Prince William will be thinking. Having been born into the Royal Family, Harry’s words do impact the rest of his family and how they look.
Harry may have wanted to show he is relatable – his dance to Chuckle Brothers on the podcast would have been enough -but his brother, Prince William, manages to do this without graphic details about his grooming routine that should have stayed behind the closed walls of Harry’s Montecito mansion.
