Kansas City Chiefs’ iconic mascot KC Wolf finally unmasked after celebrating milestone game ahead of NFL playoffs
Fans were full of praise for the unmasked hero
THE man inside the KC Wolf costume has been unmasked by the Kansas City Chiefs.
It was a defeat for Andy Reid’s much-changed team in the final match before the playoffs as they were beaten 38-0 by the Denver Broncos.

But it was a milestone game for mascot KC Wolf as the employee inside the jersey and baggy trousers celebrated his 600th game.
The Chiefs marked the occasion with a social media post and revealed the mystery figure as Dan Meers.
They wrote online: “This Broncos game wasn’t just another game for Dan Meers. It was his 600th game! Congrats on a huge milestone, Dan!”
Fans showed their love for him, saying: “A true character with character. Thankful for the impact Dan has had on my life and so many others.”
Another added: “A genuine and amazing man! You have such a positive impact on Chiefs Kingdom, the local community and all those whom you interact with! Congratulations!”
More commented: “You have brought so much to the Chiefs and to us fans. We are so fortunate to have KC Wolf.”
KC Wolf was introduced to supporters and started putting smiles on faces in 1989.
Aside from games, Meers averages more than 150 engagements each year throughout the United States.
He visits schools, community events, birthdays, weddings, and parades to add plenty of fun.
Meers also has “humorous and motivational speeches” up his sleeve.
