This Morning favourite Alison Hammond raked in around £35,000 a week last year after landing a series of lucrative deals.
She runs a firm called Alison Hammond Ltd to take in cash from her TV and money-spinning advertising contracts and accounts filed this week to Companies House show the firm has almost £1m in cash for 2024, up from £181,722 in 2023. The books also show she paid £368,031 in Corporation Tax meaning she earned around £1.84m in that financial year. Her earnings have shot up compared to the previous year, when the bill was just over £40,000. She previously opened up about struggling to pay her mortgage, even after she’d become a household name.

The Great British Bake Off host, 50, is now one of the most in-demand stars on the box and became the new face of For the Love of Dogs following the death of Paul O’Grady. She currently presents ITV’s This Morning on a Friday with co-host Dermot O’Leary and is also a team captain on Rob Beckett’s Smart TV for Sky. Earlier this year her new travel series: Florida Unpacked, went out on BBC Two. It saw her travel the US state with son Aidan. For years Alison worked as a tour rep following in the footsteps of her mother, who was a hard-working, no-nonsense travel agent.
Brummie Alison also has money spinning jobs like being the voice of Wren Kitchens which bring in thousands of pounds. The host also has a deal with online firm Very.
Alison, 50, has a second firm called Happy Hamster Ltd and the most recent accounts covering 2023 show a balance of around £200,000.
The jobs just keep rolling in for Alison, as she’s reportedly being lined up to host the reboot of cult BBC series Hole In The Wall. The original show, which aired from 2008 to 2009, featured celebrities trying to fit through moving wall cut-outs to avoid being pushed into a pool of water. It was previously hosted by Dale Winton, with Strictly Come Dancing star Anton Du Beke later taking over. The BBC is yet to announce an official air date for the Hole In The Wall reboot, but if the pilot proves successful, it’s expected to make a comeback later this year.

Alison started her telly career on the 2002 series of Big Brother and quickly became a fans favourite thanks to her bubbly personality, even though she was the second person to be evicted. She previously admitted in an interview on ITV’s Lorraine that she only applied for Big Brother because of financial woes. “At the time, I was £4,000 in debt,” Alison told. “I went into an internet cafe to apply online.”
Last year Alison opened up about a period of her life when she struggled for money. “There was a time when I couldn’t pay my mortgage, and I was really famous,” she said, explaining how she wasn’t getting regular slots on This Morning so had to pick up some hairdressing shifts. “It’s not all good all of the time. But I was all right, you know? That’s television, it’s fickle and it’s part of my journey, part of my power. I know I’ll be OK, because I’ve been OK before. I’ll go and work at Tesco and people will still love me.”
The mum-of-one has been dating David Putnam, 27, for a year – after the TV favourite reportedly booked him for a £150 massage. Art began imitating life after she wrote about a woman dating a 27-year-old in her book Bombshell before even meeting model David. She was previously married to Noureddine Boufaied, the father of 19-year-old son Aidan, but they divorced.
