The back-to-back Super Bowl champions face their rivals at Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday at 4.30pm ET.
They are looking to make it a three-peat of rings, the first time that would have happened in league history.
Head coach Andy Reid has made a huge call over the pair to aid him during the game.
He has made the pair team captains for the playoffs.
The veteran coach is hoping their experience of winning in the post-season will help get his team past the Division Round.
They would then take on either the Buffalo Bills or Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship game.
Both Kelce and Mahomes have won three Super Bowls each in their time with the Chiefs.
Kelce, 35, has become a team leader during their 15-2 regular season campaign.
It came after a poor year in terms of stats for the tight end, following a dreadful start.
Meanwhile, Mahomes is the leader of the offense on the field.
The 29-year-old quarterback knows what it takes to get over the line in one-off games.
Reid has also made four others team captains for the Chiefs in the playoffs.
Defensive tackle Chris Jones is one.
He is fit and ready to face the Texans after an injury scare.
