Jake Paul “Accidentally” Reveals Mike Tyson Has A Worrying Disease, Then Quickly Backtracks After The Former Heavyweight Champion Denies It

Jake Paul has quickly backtracked after making a wild claim about recent boxing opponent Mike Tyson.

The YouTuber was speaking to Adin Ross on Sunday when he disclosed Tyson was “Cured of Parkinson’s” before their fight last November. According to Paul, the former world heavyweight champion was diagnosed with the neurodegenerative disease but cured himself by smoking toad.

“Ayahuasca is really good for your brain as well. And same with toad!” he said while discussing psychedelic drugs with his fellow influencer.

The claim set off lots of speculation as Tyson’s health became a trending topic on social media, prompting a denial from the 58-year-old.

“Mike is happy and perfectly healthy,” a spokesperson for the boxing icon told the Daily Mail. “He doesn’t have Parkinson’s or any other illness.”

Jake Paul took to social media shortly after to retract his assertion, blaming “stupid” people on the internet for spreading what he started.

“Bruh…Mike Tyson didn’t have no Parkinsons..WTF. Why the f*** is the internet so stupid for,” he said. “I misspoke. Meant he used toad to heal his pain. He has spoken about it many times. Just like I do. Just like many do.”

It’s a good thing he took it back because no cure for Parkinson’s has been discovered to date. While there are treatments that help patients manage their symptoms and improve their quality of life, there’s no way to eliminate the disease.

Muhammad Ali, widely regarded as the greatest boxer in history, suffered from Parkinson’s for decades. He was diagnosed with the disease at the age of 42 in 1984 and lived with it for 32 years before passing away in 2016.

As for Tyson, his fight with Paul was pushed back because of an ulcer flare-up. The bout was initially scheduled for July 20, 2024, but was postponed until November 15 after The Baddest Man on the Planet experienced dizziness and nausea during a flight.
