Prince Harry involves Prince William and Princess Kate in legal battle

In his latest legal battle, the Duke of Sussex has dragged his brother, the Prince of Wales, and the Princess of Wales, into a dispute against the Daily Mail’s publisher. Prince Harry has claimed private investigators spied on Prince William, according to new details submitted to the High Court.
Lawyers for the duke and six other claimants produced invoices allegedly showing surveillance around William’s 21st birthday party and phone data linked to Catherine Middleton, the Princess of Wales’s former name. One invoice from 2003 refers to a payment for information about Prince William’s Out of Africa-themed 21st birthday party, the Telegraph reports.
The filings risk inflaming tensions once again with his family, as Harry pursues his case against Associated Newspapers.

A further record listed 10 numbers from a “family and friends” list, in which Kate’s was highlighted.
The evidence was submitted to the High Court on Wednesday as part of Harry’s ongoing case against Associated Newspapers.
The Duke is one of seven claimants suing Associated Newspapers for alleged privacy breaches dating back up to 30 years. In written submissions to the High Court, lawyers for the group claim that payments were made to private investigators for information about the Prince and Princess of Wales.
The claimants, including Sir Elton John, his husband David Furnish, Baroness Lawrence of Clarendon, Sadie Frost, Liz Hurley and Sir Simon Hughes, have accused the newspaper group of carrying out or commissioning unlawful activities such as hiring private investigators
Associated, which also publishes the Mail on Sunday, denies any wrongdoing and says the “lurid” claims are preposterous.

The new references to Prince William and Princess Kate appeared in paperwork filed for a two-day case management hearing.
Both Sadie Frost and David Furnish were in court for the hearing while other claimants tuned in via video link.
