Pete Wicks says he’s QUITTING reality TV after Strictly Come Dancing for an UNEXPECTED reason
PETE Wicks has revealed how he is QUITTING reality TV after Strictly Come Dancing, as he talked about the “only job he has ever wanted”.
The former Towie star has done his fair share of reality TV shows over the years, and has become well known for it.

Pete, 35, who is currently dazzling on the Strictly Come Dancing dancefloor, is well known for shows like Celebs Go dating.
But now he has told The Sun how he wants to leave all that behind.
Pete said: “I won’t be going back on Celebs Go Dating any time soon put it that way.
“I am banned from dating shows. At my ripe old age I am just going to settle for dying alone.
“You hear of single women and their cats. I’m going to be a single man with my dogs. Hopefully they don’t eat me when I die.”
He went on: “I’ve had 10-years of doing shows. I’ve survived a decade. I have been a contributor on nearly every show.
“It is time to step aside and hand the baton on to younger, better looking, more talented people.
“Plus I am too old and have too much grey hair to be doing dating or reality shows anymore
Pete – who is best friends with I’m A Celebrity winner Sam Thompson – revealed which show he would still like to take part in.
“The only reality show I would still love to do would be Celeb Race Across The World which Sam (Thompson) would love us to do, ” he told us.
“To be honest he’s the only person who would put up with me. I’d have to do it with him or alone.
“But I’m not sure Sam and I would finish together. I would probably have to leave him somewhere!”
Pete’s reluctance to sign up to more reality TV shows comes after viewers watched him collapse last night on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.
The star has returned to the endurance military training course after suffering catastrophic injuries last year.

Determined to make it through this time, episode three of the show saw Pete push himself to his limit.
It came after the remaining recruits were split into pairs and told to pull 130 pounds of kit in a race across three kilometres of icy terrain.
However, Pete’s partner, comedian Tez Ilyas, was forced to withdraw by DS staff, who declared him a “safety problem” halfway through the task.
However, this meant leaving Pete to carry everything by himself.
With encouragement from DS Billy Billingham, he continued, though as time wore on he began to slow down.
He then declared, “I’m dizzy, staff” before collapsing into the snow.
Billy has since admitted he feared he’s killed Pete during the aggressive task.
