Glamour model Katie Price shared a cryptic post about trust just days after denying there was trouble in her relationship with Married at First Sight star JJ Slater
TV personality Katie Price shared a cryptic post regarding trust issues just days after denying she had split with JJ Slater.
The glamour model took to her Instagram Stories to share a message which read: “I trust an 800 kilogram creature more than I trust most people,” with an image of a woman kissing a horse’s nose.
Katie, who is known to be a huge fan of horses and even has her own equestrian clothing line, didn’t add her own caption to the upload. Instead, fans were left to speculate the meaning and wonder if something has gone wrong in her personal life.
It came after the mum-of-five sparked fears she and Married at First Sight star JJ had split. The duo seemingly spent Christmas Day apart, with the reality star nowhere to be seen as Katie and eldest son Harvey Price spent the big day with newly-single pal Kerry Katona and her brood of children as they continued panto season.
However, representatives for Katie were quick to tell the Mirror that the star is still very much in a relationship with the reality TV star. And she also showed off her present haul from her man despite spending time apart. Sharing a plethora of snaps of her and JJ having treatments at an aesthetics and piercings salon in Cheshire, Katie also showed a bag of presents for the camera.
There had been speculation over JJ and Katie’s future
Earlier this month, Katie told how it was her who made the first move with her current boyfriend after learning about his type 1 diabetes diagnosis. The reality star reached out to JJ, whose real name is John Joe, on Instagram after he went public with his condition earlier this year.
The interaction led to a casual coffee date, which eventually blossomed into a romance. Katie admitted that JJ had actually tried to contact her two years prior, but says she hadn’t noticed his message. Speaking to Woman’s Own, Katie revealed she wasn’t looking for love when she met JJ. She said however that she was drawn to him after reading about his diabetes diagnosis. She messaged him to offer her support, and they started talking.
Katie said: “I’d read in the paper that he’d got diabetes. I thought, ‘Wow, that’s quite harsh,’ as diabetes is a life-changing thing to have. I messaged and said, ‘I hope you’re okay with your diabetes’. And he said, ‘Oh, I’m really embarrassed.’ I went ‘Why? ‘ Turns out he’d messaged me two years ago but I never saw it. It must have been deleted so it was obviously meant to be.”
