Loose Women star Denise Welch has refused to discuss son Matty Healy’s past relationship with Taylor Swift.
The 1975 frontman dated the American singer last year, which sparked a frenzy amongst fans across the world, however their romance was short-lived.

Many have since been wanting to know more details about what went on between the pair, with some hoping his outspoken mum Denise would spill the beans.
Much to their disappointment, however, the actress will not disclose personal details about her rock star son’s relationships, or those of his younger brother Louis.
While a guest on Olivia Attwood’s So Wrong, It’s Right podcast, the host brought up his past relationship with Taylor after a flood of requests from fans.
Refusing to go into details, Denise replied: “Yeah, I’ve never really talked about any of his partners,” before brutally adding: “And, I certainly won’t be talking about that one.”

She continued: “I won’t talk in depth about any of his relationships, so I’m just going to stay off that one, thank you very much.”
Denise went on to say that despite being very open about her own life, she is very self-edited when it comes to discussing the lives of her sons, particularly now that they are older.

“When your kids were young, we could say anything about them because they weren’t going to sit there and watch Loose Women and nobody was going to talk about it at school,” she explained.
“But now, not just because of Matty’s fame, but you’ve got Kaye’s [Adams] kids, you’ve got Nadia’s [Sawalha’s] kids, they don’t want to be talked about, they’re in their 20s and 30s and [there’s] social media].
“If I say anything, it comes up in a big headline which is why you know, I can talk about me. You’re only as happy as your unhappiest child, so all you want in life is for your grown up kids to be happy. That’s all you want.”
