Detroit Lions fans rallied around Dan Campbell after his emotional statement
DETROIT LIONS head coach Dan Campbell broke down in tears after a heartbreaking NFL loss to the Washington Commanders.
The Commanders picked up a massive 45-31 victory over the Lions at Ford Field to end Campbell and co’s Super Bowl dreams.

The 48-year-old faced the media after the heart-rending result and quickly got emotional as he took full responsibility and declared it’s “his fault”.
A tearful Campbell said: “What they [the players] put into it… A lot of people don’t know what they go through.
“They have to get up, bodies beat to s**t… You know, mentally stay locked in and do those things.
“So… Long season. It’s my fault, it’s my fault.”
NFL fans were moved by Campbell’s emotional statement and stormed social media to reach out to him, with some insisting it wasn’t his fault.
One supporter tweeted: “Dude had a 3rd string defense and his QB gave up 3 bad turnovers. Not really his fault.”
Another commented: “A true leader takes full responsibility. A true leader is brave enough to be vulnerable just like this great man right here.
