Meghan Markle “wants to do her own tell-all” to back up husband Prince Harry, amid their ongoing royal rift, a source has claimed.

In recent weeks, Prince Harry has been back in the spotlight as his attempt to have his automatic taxpayer-funded police protection in the UK reinstated was denied by the Court of Appeal.

When Harry, 40, and Meghan, 43, stepped down from royal duties in 2020, their security was downgraded to a case-by-case basis. However, Harry wasn’t happy with this and appealed the decision.

He insisted the safety of his family was at the forefront of his appeal.

Prince Harry calls for family reconciliation in BBC interview

Following his court defeat, Prince Harry spoke out in a public interview with BBC. He said he wished to “reconcile” with his family back home, causing backlash.

“I miss the UK, of course I do. I think that it’s really quite sad that I won’t be able to show my children my homeland,” he said. He added that he “can’t see a world” in which such a thing might be possible without their previous Home Office security personnel.

She wants to do her own tell-all to back up his claims about their lack of security.

So far, Meghan has yet to speak out on the matter. However, according to recent reports, it might only be a matter of time before we get her side to the story.

“Meghan feels like it’s time to get fully involved with her husband’s family drama on a public level,” a source reportedly told Closer magazine. “She already feels like Harry is being unfairly portrayed as bitter following his interview.”

“She wants to do her own tell-all to back up his claims about their lack of security. Meghan doesn’t feel the public truly understands, and wants to give examples of times when her safety has been put at risk. She is willing to speak about some of the darker aspects of their life,” they added.

They claimed that Meghan intends to go public about what she describes as the “cold war” between the two of them and the royal family.

The source allegedly added: “Up until now, she has felt it best to try to keep positive. But after seeing Harry wear his heart on his sleeve, she feels she should be more aligned with her husband. She realises that she’s been harping on about their happy life. But the truth is, Harry is clearly very angry about his situation. Harry had hopes of being closer to his family and building bridges, but Meghan’s not keen and has told him ‘I want out’. It’s back to the drawing board.”

They claimed that Meghan wants to “stand up for her man” and remind the world that they are “two humans who have been unfairly treated from the very beginning of their love story“.
