Reality TV star Katie Price has shard her health worries as she explained a pain she has felt in her finger 23 years after she was diagnosed with cancer

Katie Price has revealed her cancer fears over two decades after she first battled the disease. The 47-year-old former glamour model told her followers she is undergoing medical tests after she felt recurring pain in the same finger that she previously had cancer.
Twenty-three years ago she was diagnosed with cancer and now has concerns once again after discovering the symptoms. Talking on her podcast with her sister Sophie, Katie explained she is currently undergoing blood tests after finding she has a low blood platelet count.
This is said to be a possible reason for her weight to drop. She described how she initially thought she had low iron before tests showed the issue.

“I’m tired, no energy,” she told her sister. “They [the doctors] said it can affect that and I think you might have to have a blood transfusion to get them [the platelets] back up again. So I’ve got to go back and have my bloods done again.”
And she then opened up on her past experience with the disease in 2002. It came as she was pregnant with eldest son Harvey, now 23.
At the time Katie developed a rare form of soft tissue cancer on her finger. She went on to her tell Sophie: “Another thing that’s really weird, you know when I had cancer years ago.
“For some who didn’t know, when I was pregnant with Harvey I got cancer, called leiomyosarcoma. If you look at my finger, there is like a hole there and a scar there, I had it cut out twice. Can you see that dent? It never hurt.”
She went on: “But a lump started coming up and I thought I had been riding and done something to my finger. But anyway cut the long story short it was leiomyosarcoma so I had to have MRI scans and all of that for six years until I was clear.”
Now, she says she has noticed a similar situation on her finger. Revealing she first spotted the issue around three weeks ago, she wondered if she had knocked it.
“And it (the pain) still hasn’t gone. So I’m going to get that X-rayed and looked at so I hope it’s not that again.”
Katie is hoping she doesn’t receive bad news, explaining how she is currently riding a positive wave. “This better not be my bad news, and get bad results.
“Because all this is happening, and then normally in my life something good happens and then something bad happens. Let’s hope it’s nothing bad.”
She is also currently ready to release a new tune after a surprise that her 2017 track topped the iTunes charts this week. She has joined up with a former X Factor contestant and has been in the studio to produce the tune.
