Strictly viewers slam ‘awful’ changes to results show as they fume over treatment of Vicky Pattison and Karen Carney
Things are slightly different during Sunday shows now
Strictly fans took to social media to slam the “awful” changes BBC bosses have made to the results show following the second elimination of the series.
Ross King’s time on Strictly came to an end last night (October 12), as the judges unanimously voted to save Balvinder Sopal following their dance-off.

Last night, as with last week, saw the return of the newly formatted Strictly results show.
In previous years, all of the celebrities who avoided the dance-off got the opportunity to chat to Claudia Winkleman in the Clauditorium.
However, this is no longer the case. There is now a ‘final four’, but the two celebs who don’t have to go into the dance-off don’t get the opportunity to go and chat to Claudia as we go straight into the dance-off.
This meant that last night, Vicky Pattison and Karen Carney, who were both in the so-called bottom four, didn’t get to celebrate booking their place in Week 4 with Claudia.
It’s safe to say that viewers aren’t happy with the results show’s format changes.

Taking to social media, fans hit out at the changes.
“So we don’t get to talk to Karen and Vicky?. I hate this new format. Who the hell thought this up?” one viewer fumed on X.
“Vicky just had a horrible week and had to stand there waiting to find out if she was in the dance off, and now doesn’t even get to de-stress in the Clauditorium. Does anyone actually like these changes??” another said.
“I hate the extra two couples not getting their moment with Claudia,” a third tweeted.
“I hate it….it’s so unfair that the last 2 couples that are safe don’t get to talk to Claudia,” another added.
“New format is still absolute [bleep] btw I’m fuming that Vicky and Karen don’t get a Clauditorium chat,” a fifth wrote.

Viewers gutted as Ross King is eliminated
Last night saw Ross King and partner Jowita Przystal eliminated from the competition.
They became the second pairing to be booted off the show following Thomas Skinner’s elimination last week.
“I have loved every single minute of it. I would like to say thank you to everyone who has supported us, all the people who voted – they’ve been amazing,” Ross said. He then continued, saying: “I want to thank everyone here in this room, backstage, the judges, the crew – every single person here has made me so, so welcome.”
Turning to Jowita, he added: “And, I want to thank a very special lady who has been with me through it all and has been absolutely everything: she’s been a mentor, teacher, carer… I could not have wished for a better partner, and I could not have wished to be on a better show. Thank you judges for all your remarks.”
Fans were sad to see Ross go. “I know he wasn’t a good dancer but really wanted him to stay in it longer and see him improve,” one said.
“Here we go again. Is it a dancing competition or a popularity contest? Nobody in week three is going to be perfect, but there were others who should have been in the dance-off,” another said.
