Emily MacDonagh, married to pop star Peter Andre, has given rare insight into her role as stepmother to Junior and Princess Andre, Peter’s children with ex-wife Katie Price. This revelation comes following claims by 47-year-old Katie that she was omitted from the guest list for daughter Princess’ recent 18th birthday bash.
Emily, 35, who has three children with Pete herself, usually keeps mum on matters pertaining to Katie and seldom discusses her stepchildren in public. Nevertheless, she’s opened up during an intimate conversation with Giovanna Fletcher on the Happy Mum Happy Baby podcast.

A practising NHS doctor, Emily says she knows she isn’t Princess and Junior’s biological mother but aims to act “more like a big sister”.
Discussing her delicate role, Emily remarked: “I always feel like, you know, I’m not their mum, and that’s something I always have to make sure I tread carefully with. I always see it, I think I would see it a bit more like being a big sister.”
She elaborated further: “I don’t know if that’s the right way to look at it, but I think, you know, I always try and give them guidance, but I wouldn’t overstep that. I obviously try and support them like I would do with my own kids”, the Mirror reports.
