‘Heartbroken’ Katie Price issues health update on son Harvey’s ‘life-threatening’ weight issue
‘I love him and I’m going to help him through this’
Katie Price has shared a worrying update about her son Harvey, revealing his weight has almost reached a “life-threatening” level.
The TV star, 46, shares 22-year-old Harvey with ex Dwight York. Harvey is blind and autistic and has septo-optic dysplasia (a disorder of early brain development). He was also born with Prader-Willi syndrome and one symptom of his disability is that it causes Harvey to have an excessive appetite.
Now, mum-of-five Katie has revealed her fears for his health after finding out his weight has almost reached 30 stone (188kg).

Katie Price reveals Harvey’s weight ‘is going up’
Taking to her social media at the weekend, Katie admitted she is “heartbroken and gutted” about Harvey’s increasing weight.
“I’m so heartbroken and gutted that his weight is just going up,” Katie said in a Snapchat video.
She added: “I just googled it in stones, 188kg is just a few kg of being 30 stone. It’s so life-threatening now, I’m still waiting for the doctors to get back to me starting on the Mounjaro and his journey to a healthy life.”

Harvey ‘at high risk of having heart attack’
Katie continued: “It’s so sad his quality of life at the moment. Where he’s so big, he just can’t really do much.
“It’s just another thing I have to deal with because he’s at high risk of having a heart attack, he struggles to put his trainers on or struggles to walk anywhere but I love him and I’m going to help him through this.
“So sad. Obesity and his condition is sad. It’s sad to see someone go through it and he doesn’t understand.”

Katie has previously spoken about Harvey’s weight and revealed earlier this year that is taking weight-loss jabs.
“He’s putting on weight. It doesn’t matter what we do. He can’t put his shoes on without sweating. He can’t walk far because he gets out of breath,” she told The Sun.
Katie added: “It’s because of all the weight. So the doctors are doing it to give him a better, longer life, and for his health.”
