JoJo Siwa has opened up about her dreams of motherhood and the personal transformation she’s experiencing, all while her romance with Love Island star Chris Hughes continues to flourish.
The 22-year-old singer and former child star revealed in a recent interview that she’s scrapped her old favourite baby names—Freddie, Eddie and Teddy—despite having two of them tattooed on her arm. Instead, she’s now set her heart on a striking new name: Silver Siwa.
“I was a bad girl, did some bad things—and that was naming children,” JoJo joked, referencing her viral hit Karma. But her dreams of becoming a mother are no joke. “Since I was 12, I cannot wait to be a mom. I want to have so many!” she said on The Biggest Podcast Ever, even admitting that she already has a sperm donor lined up.
JoJo’s love life has also taken a beautiful turn. After meeting Chris Hughes on Celebrity Big Brother, the pair have grown close, with JoJo recently flying to the UK to surprise him after 10 days apart. Chris later shared a heartwarming black-and-white photo of them cuddling on his green sofa, writing: “My month is made.”
In a recent series of emotional Instagram posts, JoJo reflected on the bold steps she’s taking into adulthood. “These photos are different. They’re bold. They’re grown. They’re me,” she wrote about her shoot with YOU Magazine, adding that she’s slowly “escaping her sparkly bubble.”
She also opened up about the fluid nature of her sexuality, saying she once felt pressured to identify as a lesbian, but now embraces the term queer. “The truth is, sexuality is fluid,” JoJo shared. “And now I just want to be me.”
