King Charles ‘appalled’ by Prince Andrew’s ‘low blow’ amid Royal Lodge row: ‘Queen would be rolling in her grave’
Andrew has lived at Royal Lodge since 2004
King Charles has reportedly been left “appalled” by a “low blow” delivered by his brother, Prince Andrew.
The king, 76, and the Duke of York, 64, have apparently been at odds for some time over the latter continuing to live at Royal Lodge since the queen’s death.

Prince Andrew ‘banking on queen’s dogs to stop King Charles evicting him’
Ever since Queen Elizabeth II’s death in September 2022, the king has apparently been keen to have Andrew leave Royal Lodge – which is in Windsor Great Park.
Andrew lives in the seven-bedroom home with his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson.
He signed a 75-year lease on the royal house in 2003 – and has no plans or desire to move. However, the house has reportedly fallen into disrepair, with the duke allegedly struggling to pay for its upkeep.
Since the queen died in 2022, Andrew and Sarah have been caring for her corgis, Muick and Sandy. Now it’s being reported that the Duke of York is hoping that the two dogs and the memory of their mother will prevent any fresh moves by Charles to kick him out of his home.

King Charles ‘appalled’ by Andrew’s ‘low blow’
A source spoke to Women’s Day recently, claiming Andrew is hoping that the dogs will shield him from an eviction notice.
“He’s banking on the canines to shield him from moving. The queen would be rolling in her grave over this,” they claimed.
“It shows just how bad things are between them that Andrew feels his brother values those two dogs more than him – and enough to make sure he’s properly taken care of,” they then added.
Charles reportedly views the move as a “low blow” from his brother.

Prince Andrew ‘snubbed’ by Princess Anne
The Duke of York was reportedly snubbed by his sister, Princess Anne, for a royal event near his home recently.
According to the MailOnline, the Princess Royal hosted a dinner at Windsor in her role as Warden for Gordonstoun school.
He’s banking on the canines to shield him from moving.
Andrew, like brothers Charles and Edward, attended Gordonstoun school as a youngster. However, there was no invite for him.
“I’m sure the duke would have loved to have attended the dinner if he had been invited,” a source told the publication.

Charles’ ‘concern’ for Andrew
Meanwhile, reports claimed recently that the king has concerns for his brother following all the scandals he has faced over the last few years.
In 2022, the Duke of York faced a civil lawsuit after Virginia Giuffre – an alleged victim of late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein – accused him of sexual assault. Andrew has always denied the allegations, and they settled the lawsuit out of court.
More recently, Andrew has made headlines over his association with an alleged ‘Chinese spy’.
Speaking to the Mirror, royal expert Jennie Bond spoke of Charles’ concerns for his brother.
“Nothing is going to change the fact that Andrew is Charles’ brother. The family already has two totally estranged brothers, it doesn’t need any more,” she said.
“So I think this is a year when the king will try to keep the situation with Andrew calm and under control. A lot depends on what, if any, further stories or allegations are made against the duke in the coming months,” she then added.
