The parents of Britain’s largest family have been slapped with fines after whisking their children away from school for a lavish £52,000 jaunt to Disney World in Florida.

Noel and Sue Radford splashed out on the trip to mark Sue’s 50th birthday in April 2025. However, despite claiming they were ‘feeling the pinch’ last year, the costs of the extravagant holiday continue to mount after they were hit with fines last week.

The couple, hailing from Morecambe, Lancs, were found guilty at Preston Magistrates Court of failing to ensure regular school attendance for four of their children between March 24 and May 1, 2025. They were each fined £65 per child plus £118 court costs, adding an additional £756 to the cost of the Florida getaway.

The star of Channel 5’s 22 Kids and Counting posted snaps from the family holiday on Instagram during the break. The photos included a shot of the family posing with Donald Duck and Sue donning Minnie Mouse ears while holding a giant drink.

However, they faced criticism for leaving behind their daughter Chloe, 29, who was due to give birth to her second child, reports Lancs Live.
However, the celebratory journey hit a snag when 24-year-old Millie Radford and her two children were stranded at the airport due to expired ESTA certificates. Noel stayed back to assist them in reapplying, and they joined the rest of the family in Florida the following day.

Sue Radford celebrated her 50th birthday on March 22, 2025, playfully claiming she was actually ’49 plus one. ‘ Just weeks after their return from the birthday trip, the family were spotted jetting off to Florida once again for another holiday in June.
The Radfords had previously told The Mirror they were “feeling the pinch” financially, but appear to have spared no expenses for their holiday in April.
Sue and Noel star in Channel 5’s 22 Kids and Counting and also earn money from their business Radford’s Pie Company.
Sue and her husband Noel not only took their own children to Florida in April, but all of their grandchildren with them too – making the most of the Easter break from school.
Sue, 50, and Noel, 54, are parents to Christopher, Sophie, Chloe, Jack, Daniel, Luke, Millie, Katie, James, Ellie, Aimee, Josh, Max, Tillie, Oscar, Casper, Alfie, stillborn in 2014, Hallie, Phoebe, Archie, Bonnie, and Heidie.
