Narinder Kaur has sparked backlash as she took aim at the royals once again. The Good Morning Britain panellist, 52, slammed Prince William and Princess Kate for heading on their “sixth or seventh” holiday of the year, which they are enjoying on a “super yacht” owned by a UAE minister. The broadcaster questioned why this hadn’t been mentioned in the press, yet the earrings Meghan Markle received as a gift from a Saudi Prince was repeatedly covered.

Taking to X, Narinder wrote: “Why have Royal reporters been silenced about Wills and Kate holidaying( 6th/7th? hol this year already, but that’s for another day debate), on a super yacht owned by a UAE minister /Saudi family? Yet when Meghan was gifted earrings from a Saudi Prince it was ‘blood soaked’?” Defending the couple, one social media user hit back: “What’s the difference between a working royal and a grifting royal? What’s the difference between a couple who represents a country and one that trashes the country that has given them the relevance of their status. What’s the point of your constant attacks on the UK?”

But Kaur only responded with a brutal query about the duo’s titles, asking: “Will and Kate working royals?”

Another posted: “They were gifted to Meghan by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman at the time of the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi. Authorised by the Saudi Prince.”

Snapping back, the Jeremy Vine panellist commented: “Oh…the same that were gifted to the late Queen?,” alongside an image of Salman and the late monarch.

Another fumed: “Narinder, your anti-monarchy screeds and clueless attacks on Catherine show nothing but desperation for attention. Remember when you suggested the Princess looked aged because she must be a smoker, only to delete it after global outrage? That was wildly tone‑deaf, especially given Kate’s recovery post‑chemo. Experts labelled it ‘dreadful’ and you admitted it was ‘stupid’ and ‘insensitive’.”

Others agreed with Narinder as one posted: “Thanks for ALWAYS calling those vultures out.” Meanwhile, Prince William and Princess Kate were branded “hypocrites” by several X users.

Meghan, 43, sparked controversy when she stepped out wearing earrings gifted to her by Saudi prince Mohammed bin Salman – just days after his regime admitted killing journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

Harry and Meghan’s staff believed that the opulent earrings were “borrowed” from a jeweller, but royal expert Valentine Low’s book, Courtiers: The Hidden Power Behind the Crown, claimed that “it was not true” that they were being lent out.

He added that Meghan’s staff were then left “bemused” by the idea the former Suits actress would “knowingly wear earrings given to her by a man accused of having blood on his hands”.

Speaking on behalf of the couple, law firm Schillings said: “It is possible she said the earrings were borrowed, which is correct, as presents from heads of state to the Royal Family are gifts to Her Majesty the Queen, who can then choose to lend them out to members of the family.”
