PATRICK MAHOMES has broken his silence on outrageous claims the Kansas City Chiefs are given special treatment by NFL referees.
Some American football fans have claimed the current Super Bowl champions have repeatedly benefitted from dodgy calls going their way this season.

Some have even gone as far as to say the league is “rigged” in favour of Andy Reid’s side.
The notion that officials are favouring the Chiefs hasn’t gone unnoticed by the players, who are currently in the pursuit of Super Bowl history.
And star quarterback Mahomes hasn’t minced his words on the apparent conspiracy theory, which fans continued to parrot after the Chiefs’ Divisional Round win over the Houston Texans last weekend.
He said on 96.5 & The Fan: “I’ve kind of learned that no matter what happens during the game, that something’s going to come out about it if you win and you continue to win.
“So I don’t really pay attention to it.
“I mean, obviously I’ve been on both sides of it as far as how I felt the calls were made.
“But at the end of the day, man, those guys are doing their best to make the best calls and keep it to where the players are making the plays in the game.
“And that’s what decides the outcome.”

ESPN’s Troy Aikman said of the ref’s call: “‘Oh, come on! I mean, he’s a runner.
“I could not disagree with that one more. He barely gets hit.”
The former Dallas Cowboys star’s assessment was echoed by Russell Yurk, who said: “The two Houston players hit each other.
“That should not have been a foul.”
The Chiefs will be back in action on Sunday afternoon, welcoming the Buffalo Bills to Arrowhead Stadium in the NFL Conference Championships.
