Prince Harry has revealed that his children Archie and Lilibet are asking him questions on heartbreaking topics as they’re at the age of having “no filter”.
The Duke of Sussex, 40, has been away from his young kids the past few days as he’s in Canada for the 2025 Invictus Games. His wife Meghan Markle recently returned home to California after spending five days at the games.
During the games, Prince Harry has opened up about his children and explained that they’re asking him questions about those who participate in the Invictus Games.
He has also seemingly addressed whether he and Meghan, 43, will have any more children in the future.

Prince Harry reveals children Archie and Lilibet are asking questions about Invictus Games
Harry created the games in 2014. It’s an international multi-sport event for wounded, injured and sick military service personnel, both serving and veterans.
Speaking to PEOPLE on February 9, Harry said of the Invictus stories he tells Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilibet, three: “They are fascinated. It’s a very interesting conversation to have with your kids — to explain why that person is missing a leg, why that person is missing an arm, why do they look the way they do. It’s challenging but important.”
I think one or two kids is probably enough… I definitely think that.
The duke added: “Our kids are still so young, but Archie, especially, is asking those questions. As any parent knows, once you open that door and those questions are asked, or that conversation starts, more and more doors start opening.
“And then he starts asking, ‘How did they get injured? What’s a mine? What’s all this?’ It becomes opening Pandora’s box, to some extent, especially with kids this age, because they have no filter, and they’re just so curious and so inquisitive! They want to know more, more, more.”

Will Harry and Meghan have more children?
Meanwhile, during another interview this week, Harry seemingly dropped a hint over whether he and Meghan will have more kids.
According to the Mirror, Harry said in a 30-minute CTV News special: “I think one or two kids is probably enough… I definitely think that.
“I know some people who’ve got five, I just say, ‘Well, that’s your own fault!’ Having kids is amazing, but it is… it’s a journey every single day, every single week, they just grow, and they change.”
He added: “I love the questions that they ask and the experiences and the challenges that they give you. It’s great.”

Prince Harry on son Archie’s question about landmines
Elsewhere this week, the Duke of Sussex shared how son Archie had asked him about landmines.
Speaking to Canadian TV channel CTV, Harry said: “It’s hard because kids don’t always ask the right questions. So you either shut it down straight away, which I will never do, or you engage in the conversation and try to explain things.
“Archie was asking about landmines so I was talking about how some of these guys were blown up.”
He went on: “I think IEDs [Improvised explosive devices] are probably a little much at this point. But I found myself talking to him about mines, he’s five years old.
“Interestingly, it gave me a chance to talk about my mum, his grandma, which I didn’t even really consider so that became the outcome of the story for him.”
During a 1997 trip to Angola, Africa, Princess Diana famously walked through a live minefield. Harry recreated the moment in Angola in 2013.
