King Charles ‘won’t give Princess Kate advice on being queen’ as he ‘intends to stay on throne for years to come’
Kate will take on the role of Queen Consort one day
Kate, Princess of Wales, is destined to become Queen Consort one day – however, according to royal insiders and experts, King Charles reportedly has no plans to advise her on her future role just yet.
The reasoning behind this is apparently tied to Charles’ intention to reign for many years to come.

King Charles ‘not giving Princess Kate advice on being queen’
Royal author Christopher Andersen recently spoke to Fox News about the dynamics between King Charles and his daughter-in-law, Kate.
Andersen revealed that Charles and Kate’s relationship has grown stronger, especially as they supported each other through personal struggles including their shared experiences with cancer.
Despite this closer bond, discussions about Kate and Prince William’s eventual ascension to the throne are noticeably absent.
“The king is not about to be giving Kate advice about being a future queen,” Anderson explained.
“That would simply give oxygen to the notion that he might not be around much longer. Charles III intends to stay put on the throne for years to come.”
Although Charles is reportedly refraining from offering direct guidance, his admiration for Kate’s dedication and resilience has been made clear.
In a significant gesture, he appointed her as a Royal Companion of Honour.
“He’s so impressed with her grace and grit,” Anderson added. He pointed to this as an “unmistakable sign of his faith in her ability to help carry the monarchy forward”.

Queen Camilla ‘hasn’t felt compelled to speak with Kate about being queen’
Queen Camilla, like her husband, has also chosen not to approach the subject.
“[Camilla] has not felt compelled to speak with Kate about what it’s like to be queen,” Anderson stated.
Meanwhile, Prince William is reportedly preparing for his future role as king behind the scenes.
A royal insider told US Weekly that William wants to be sure he’s ready when the time comes.
The king is not about to be giving Kate advice about being a future queen.
“William takes being a success in the royal role very seriously,” the insider noted.
Charles’ path to the throne was historic, marked by his record as the longest-serving heir apparent in British history.
His coronation in 2023 followed the death of Queen Elizabeth II, bringing an end to his 70-year wait.
Now, despite his cancer battle, the 76-year-old monarch is committed to lead.
“Charles has wanted to be the monarch for decades,” the source added. “Even though he’s battling cancer, he’s not letting that get in the way of his desire to be successful on the throne or a dynamic leader.”

Princess Kate ‘entering new phrase of recovery’ after cancer
While royal discussions and duties continue, Princess Kate has recently been focusing on her health.
Following the end of her chemotherapy treatment, she said: “I’m entering this new phase of recovery with a renewed sense of hope and appreciation of life.”
Kate is eager to gradually return to public engagements, though her priority is on her health.
“I’m looking forward to being back at work,” she shared. “But my focus is doing what I can to stay cancer-free.”
