Spencer Morgan, 32, has shared that his father threatened to cut him out of the will if he ever made a significant decision regarding his romantic life. The sports journalist and eldest son of Piers Morgan received a stark warning about signing up for a reality series like Love Island or Celebs Go Dating.
Speaking at Tulley’s Shocktober Fest press night, Spencer told The Sun: “I’ve been asked to do SAS: Who Dares Wins, Celebs Go Dating, Love Island — the lot. But Dad told me if I did any of them, that’s it — I’m out of the will”. Spencer, who’s currently dating stunning girlfriend Erica, added: “It’s always been the deal. I have to make the right choice on that one.”

While Piers himself dabbled in reality TV with his 2008 appearance on The Celebrity Apprentice USA, fronted by Donald Trump, Spencer says that was different: “He’d already made it. For him, it was a career move I’m still building mine.”
Now carving out a career as a sports journalist, Spencer is keen to shed the nepo baby label and prove himself in the industry. Though he acknowledges his privileged start — including private school at £17k a year — he says: “Technically, yes, I’m a nepo baby. But you play the cards you’re dealt.”
Piers, 60, shares Spencer with ex-wife Marion Shalloe, and also has sons Stanley, 26, and Albert, 23, plus daughter Elise, 13, with wife Celia Walden.

It comes as Piers joked there are “three people” in his marriage to wife Celia Walden as the pair headed on a glitzy date night to a London restaurant.
The TV presenter headed to Carbone in Mayfair with Celia and soon bumped into Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta leading to a cosy snap with all three of them.
Piers who is an avid Arsenal fan, shared: “I may even have told Mikel that I love him on a personal level too, at which point Celia apologised to him and asked if he’d like her to call security (he laughed but declined the offer). Despite my fan-girling, he couldn’t have been nicer or more friendly.
“Arsenal are very lucky to have such a classy guy at the helm, and I really do believe, as I told him, that this is the year the pain and torment ends, and we win the League again after 21 long agonising years. Let’s do this Mikel!!”
