Lorraine: Andi mocks Meghan Markle’s Mother’s Day post
Lorraine host Andi Peters has made fun of Meghan Markle’s latest Mother’s Day post, in which she’d included gushing poem about parenthood. Meghan took to Instagram yesterday to mark Mother’s Day in America, giving a glimpse into family life with a post about her kids Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, three.
Stepping in to host ITV’s Lorraine today while Lorraine Kelly recovered from her recent hospital procedure, Andi updated viewers on the Duchess of Sussex’s latest post. “That’s Meghan with her children Archie and Lilibet,” Andi told viewers as a photo flashed on the screen of the trio.

“She posted the photo yesterday to mark Mother’s Day in America and she wrote: ‘Cheers to juggling it all with joy! And to those two gems – who still attempt to climb “mama mountain”, smother me in kisses, and make every day the most memorable adventure…'”
Andi then held his hand to his earpiece to say, “Oh wait there’s more. I think we need some music – Paul hit it.” He then read out the rest of the post while emotional music played in the background.
“‘Being your mom – M-O-M – is the greatest privilege of my life. I, too, love you more than all the stars in all the sky, all the raindrops, and all the salt on all the french fries in all the world,'” Andi continued before a record scratch sound was played.
“Way!” Andi said before mockingly added: “Love that. Love a French fry – Happy Mother’s Day America.”
Over the weekend, Meghan and Prince Harry headed out on a date night to Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter tour. The couple were pictured cuddling up at the LA tour date in a photo that was shared on Beyoncé’s tour website.
The pair put on a united front amid rumours that they had been living separate lives in America, with Harry wearing a dark green hat along with dark jeans and a grey jacket. Meanwhile, Meghan wore an off the shoulder denim dress – looking as stunning as ever as she wore her hair up.
It’s not the first time that they’ve been to see Beyoncé, with the royal couple going to watch her at the Renaissance World Tour back in 2023 at the SoFi Stadium.
