Anthony Joshua’s ‘reaction’ to Tyson Fury retirement revealed by Eddie Hearn as £500m fight lies in tatters
It is not Fury’s first retirement
EDDIE HEARN was probed on Anthony Joshua’s reaction to Tyson Fury announcing his retirement from boxing.
Fury took to social media to hang up his gloves – not for the first time – following consecutive losses to Oleksandr Usyk.

And it appears he is ready to walk away from a series of bouts with AJ worth a combined £500MILLION.
But Joshua’s promoter Hearn is not so convinced and claimed he has not even spoke to AJ about Fury’s bombshell retirement.
He told iFL TV: “I haven’t. Nope. Listen, one, we don’t really take it too seriously. Two, if it is serious there’s nothing we can do about it anyway.
“What do you think goes on? Do you think Josh is going to phone me up and go, ‘Oh Ed have you seen the news, mate?’
“He’s not that kind of guy.”
Hearn admitted Fury could have made the announcement for a number of reasons.
He said: “He could have been doing it because he’s got the hump. He could have been doing it for some attention.
“He could have been doing it because it’s true. What’s the point in guessing?”

Fury has retired four times before, three of those coming on social media.
And in his latest, he said: “Hey everybody, I am going to make it short and sweet.
Tyson Fury retires from boxing with cryptic ‘Dick Turpin wore a mask’ jibe to leave Anthony Joshua fight dead in water
“I would like to announce my retirement from boxing. It has been a blast and I have loved every single minute of it.
“I’m going to end with this – Dick Turpin wore a mask. God bless everybody and see you on the other side.”
