Travis Kelce Receives Strong 9-Word Message from Dalton Schultz After Chiefs-Texans
Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs are heading to their seventh straight AFC Championship Game.
The Chiefs defeated the Houston Texans, 23-14, on Saturday in the divisional round behind a historic performance from their Pro Bowl tight end.
Following the game, Kelce met with Texans tight end Dalton Schultz at midfield, where the two shared a handshake, and Houston’s offensive had a message for the Chiefs tight end.
“You are a walking legend, man,” Schultz said. “A walking legend.”
Schultz finished his final game of the season with 63 yards on four receptions. While the veteran tight end had a solid outing, it wasn’t enough to stop the AFC juggernaut.
Kelce finished the game with seven receptions for 117 yards, including an 11-yard touchdown reception early in the fourth quarter. He led the Chiefs in all three receiving categories.
The legendary tight end was responsible for more than half of Kansas City’s 212 yards of total offense. KC had 14 first downs and converted 4-of-11 third downs.
Kelce recorded his ninth career playoff game of 100 or more receiving yards, the most in NFL history, per ESPN BET.

Kelce has truly cemented himself as a legend, helping push Kansas City’s record to 16-2 on the season as the Chiefs attempt to secure their third straight Super Bowl title.
Up next, the Chiefs will host the winner of Sunday’s other AFC divisional playoff game between the Baltimore Ravens and Buffalo Bills.
