The political commentator had some choice words for Sinclair Broadcast Group and, in turn, the late far-right activist Charlie Kirk in the wake of Jimmy Kimmel’s suspension from late-night.

Sinclair called for ABC to air a remembrance for Kirk following Kimmel’s show being cancelled.

“Burn in hell, Sinclair,” Olbermann wrote on X. “Alongside Charlie Kirk.”

As we all saw, ABC shocked everyone by yanking Jimmy Kimmel Live from the air “indefinitely” following his comments about Kirk and how Republicans are trying to score political points.

He stated that the “MAGA gang” is “desperately trying to characterize” Kirk’s suspected killer “as anything other than one of them” in order to “score political points.”

In separate follow-up posts, Olbermann further supported Kimmel by writing, “nothing [he] said was untrue” and that “Kimmel never said the shooter was or wasn’t MAGA.”

Saying bad things about Charlie Kirk can get you fired from your job.

The Carolina Panthers fired one of their staffers following their ill-advised social media post on Kirk’s death.

An assistant dean at Middle Tennessee State University was fired after posting “inappropriate and callous comments” about the murder of Kirk as well.

Political commentator Keith Olbermann is catching major backlash for writing, “Burn in hell, Sinclair. Alongside Charlie Kirk,” on X.

Olbermann, a former MSNBC host and ESPN analyst, might not be free from losing his current job.

Olbermann hosts the daily podcast Countdown with Keith Olbermann for iHeart Media. Fans of Kirk have already begun contacting them about his comments. The clock is ticking.
