Jake Paul reveals Turki Alalshikh’s threat to Canelo Alvarez that ended fight between them
A confession that will give much to talk about in the boxing world
Jake Paul was upset at being rejected at the last minute by Canelo Alvarez. The Mexican had everything ready to negotiate a fight with the content creator and Turki Alalshikh appeared offering one of the best contracts of his career, which he ended up accepting
This generated a lot of controversy in the boxing world, especially because Canelo was actually willing to fight Jake Paul. The content creator was frustrated for weeks at being rejected by Canelo, to the point that he published a confidential contract that was signed by both boxers

Already a month on from what happened, it seems that the YouTuber and boxer is already managing to come to terms with the fact that this fight will not happen in the short term.
With Canelo out of the picture, El Gallo is still looking for possible opponents for a fight. He is not yet clear, but he will do everything possible to try to overshadow Saul
Turki Alalshikh changed all his plans
In a talk between Jake Paul and David Benavidez on his YouTube channel, he explained all the details about the fight that ended up vanishing:
“Pretty much everything was set to go from yard one, we signed the letter of intent and the confidentiality agreement. On the Monday after the fight with Tyson. So we were negotiating for two months straight,” Jake Paul revealed in the chat

However, Turki Alalshikh would step in and ruin all his plans, as he offered Canelo the best contract of his career for four fights, one in Las Vegas and three in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
“Turki hates me, he hates me completely. He did everything he could to frustrate the fight. Try to make it not happen,” said the content creator.
Not only that, Jake confessed that Turki put all the pressure on Canelo, as he threatened him when rumors of their fight began to emerge:
“He was calling Canelo, he was calling Eddie Reynoso, basically saying, ‘Why are you doing this? Why are you doing this?’, to the point of having to threaten to cancel his three-fight contract: ‘You’re not going to fight Crawford. I’m not going to pay you any of this money“, commented ‘El Gallo’.
What’s next for Jake Paul?
In this same conversation between Benavidez and Paul, the YouTuber and boxer confessed that he has many options on the table for his next fight, but he assured that he would fight anyone except the ‘Mexican Monster’:
“My manager talks to me about all the possible fights and I say yes and no. And the only one is not you. I will not fight this guy. He’s a monster, brother. I would die. I know my limits,” Jake said
Sources revealed that Gervonta Davis was a very strong option, but his draw against Lamont Roach Jr stopped everything, so Paul has another target in his sights and it is Anthony Joshua:
