I’M A Celebrity star Kelly Brook has revealed the real reason she ended her seven-year relationship with Jason Statham.
The former model, 45, dated the Fast & Furious star, 58, from 1998 until 2004 and even got engaged before the pair decided to call it a day.

Kelly has now opened up about why the relationship ended, saying Jason failed to show up for her, the way she did for him.
Appearing on the How To Fail podcast, the Loose Women star admitted that she “fell out of love” with Jason after he “neglected” her when his Hollywood career took off.
Kelly said: “In my first relationship there was definitely elements of co-dependency and there were elements of me putting my life and career on hold.
“I had a really good job at MTV, I was hosting a daily show there and I was there for about a year and my boyfriend at the time was an actor.
“He got offered a few roles in things and he had so much talent and charisma and I said we just need to go to America and thought it would be the making of us.
“I quit my job and we went and I was kind of there as a support network for him and watched his career flourish whereas mine kind of floundered a bit because I didn’t have the same opportunities and I was flying back and forth between the UK and LA and it was quite taxing and expensive and exhausting.
“And his career kind of took off and it just became the most incredible thing.
“But because I did so much and didn’t look after myself, I just felt so neglected in that dynamic, to the point where I fell out of love with him in the end because he didn’t show up for me, like the way I showed up for him.
“We broke up and I think he just turned round to me and was like ‘why are you leaving now? I’m a movie star and a millionaire, why now?’ and I was like ‘you just haven’t been there for me and during this process I’ve become a woman and I don’t think you know who I am anymore’.
“It was just a really hard time. It was the best decision.”
After years of being a “people pleaser”, Kelly said she has become a “selfish b****” and now puts herself first.
She told host Elizabeth Day: “I have been in the past such a people pleaser and wanting to be friends with everyone and wanting to be there for everyone and not putting myself first.
“It hasn’t served me so unfortunately, as I get older, I’ve become more of a selfish b***h and I don’t really care anymore.”
Kelly has now found love with French model Jeremy Parisi and they tied the knot in 2022.
JUNGLE READY
During the same interview, Kelly revealed the extreme preparation she’s taken ahead of her I’m A Celebrity stint.
Kelly shared: “A lot of body lasering, a lot of hair removal, because I don’t think there’s a lot of that going on.”
She continued: “I’ve cut out the coffee because I think that will be a big thing for me not having caffeine.
“Your day to day things your kind of hooked on, I love to eat, I love a glass of wine, I’m just kind of winding down those of things that are my comfort here that I’m not going to have there.”
Kelly added: “I’ve been getting my head around it and watching trials back on the television, just the re-runs to see I know what I’ll be doing.”
The Loose Women star then listed her biggest fears which could see her quit the show.
Asked what she’s most nervous about, Kelly explained: “I’m terrified of everything, as I’ve got older I’ve got more phobias. I’m even scared to get the Tube at Leicester Square and get that escalator because it’s too steep for me.
“I wait for someone to be in front and behind me so I’m sandwiched.
“I’m scared of heights, I’m scared of snakes, I’m scared of spiders, all of those things.
“I don’t mind them in small doses but the fact they’ll be running all over me and on me makes me terrified.
“But I’m happy to face my phobias – I think it will be quite empowering.”
Kelly was the first celebrity to touch down in Australia on Sunday.
Kelly is finally set for I’m A Celebrity — years after insisting she would never do it.
She has been wooed with a big-money ITV deal to head into the jungle.
A source said: “Show bosses have been after Kelly as a campmate for years and think she could possibly be their sexiest contestant ever.
“She’s glamorous, witty and a familiar face to ITV audiences, having appeared as a panellist for Loose Women and other shows.
