The ESPN star personality had knocked over an item by mistake during his guest appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon before revealing his bold prediction.

Toward the end of his appearance on the late-night NBC program, Stephen A. was tasked to give his thoughts on numerous hot takes.
One of the takes revealed was that the Kansas City Chiefs star Kelce and music icon Swift would get married this year.
After Fallon read out the take, Stephen A. was ready to share his fiery opinion on the topic but accidentally knocked over a microphone on Fallon’s desk.
Smith quickly apologized, and Fallon got the impression that the subject was “a serious one” for his guest.
“I’m scared to get this wrong,” Stephen A. began. “Travis Kelce, that’s my dawg. I got to tell you: a lot of ladies love Travis Kelce. Travis Kelce has loved a lot of ladies.
“But Taylor Swift‘s a different animal.
“She looks good. She’s incredibly talented.
“And she’s worth about a billion (dollars). We’re going to guess a ‘yes’ on this one.”
Fallon instantly got up from his chair in astonishment from Smith’s take.
He then walked around the desk before sitting back down and giving props to Stephen A. for his opinion.

Fans expressed their approval of Smith’s take on Fallon’s show.
“Stephen smith always keep real so much respect to him,” one wrote.
“He is the GOAT of sports commentary/personality,” another commented.

STEPHEN A. Smith is now the face of ESPN and an executive producer on First Take having initially started working for the company back in 2003.
Smith has held various roles with the network, including hosting radio shows, SportsCenter contributions, and appearing on NBA Countdown.
He was a columnist for the Philadelphia Inquirer from 1994 to 2010.
His began as an NBA writer before becoming a general sports columnist.
Before that, Smith worked as a reporter with Winston-Salem Journal, the Greensboro News, and the New York Daily News.

Swift has attended 22 of Kelce’s games since the pair started dating in September 2023.
She most recently appeared at Kelce and the Chiefs’ brutal Super Bowl loss to the Philadelphia Eagles last month.
Swift was also booed by Eagles fans during the big game showdown.
The star couple has tried to shy away from the spotlight and recently enjoyed a private vacation.
