In a surprise that’s rocked fans of British TV’s golden couple, Cat Deeley and Patrick Kielty have officially announced the end of their 13-year marriage. 

The pair, who wed in 2012, released a joint statement confirming their separation:

“We have taken the decision to end our marriage and are now separated. There is no other party involved.

The biggest red flag? Cat was noticeably absent from the funeral of Patrick’s beloved mother, Mary Kielty, held in February in Dundrum, Ireland. While Patrick, 54, was seen tearfully carrying his mother’s coffin, Cat, 48, remained in London — reportedly hosting This Morning and doing school runs alone.

Now, insiders claim the absence wasn’t just due to work — it was the result of a heated argument between the couple in the days leading up to the funeral. A close source revealed, “It was a sensitive time for Patrick, and her decision not to attend didn’t go unnoticed. The tension came after years of juggling careers and parenting across continents.
