Meghan Markle mocked as newest release ‘clashes with Kate event’

Meghan confirmed that her Netflix special will release in December this week (Image: Getty)

Meghan Markle’s release date for her upcoming Netflix Christmas special could overshadow Princess Kate’s carol concert, according to one royal commentator. Kinsey Schofield, host of Kinsey Schofield Unfiltered, said the Duchess had suggested the festive episode of With Love, Meghan, would air in November at last month’s Fortune’s Most Powerful Women summit, but appeared to have changed her mind before a release date of December 3 was announced this week.

While a date for the Princess of Wales’ annual concert has not been confirmed, it is expected to take place in the first week of December. Ms Schofield told Talk TV: “Are we going to talk about the fact that it directly conflicts with Catherine’s carol concert? She’s done this so it’s released basically the day before. The reason why I think that’s interesting, or the date specifically is interesting, is because she either didn’t know, she lied or plans changed.”

The royal commentator also poked fun at the Christmas special’s tagline, which urges viewers to “embrace traditions and make new ones this holiday season”. “You do have to make a lot of new traditions when you have no friends and family left, so I get that,” she said.

Late Queen’s ‘frustration’ with Prince William revealed as she was ‘irritated’ by refusal

Queen Elizabeth II made a lifelong commitment to serving her country and firmly believed that duty came first. This principle not only defined her reign but also how she lived her life.

It appears that the late monarch felt her grandson, Prince William, the future King, may never live up to her high standards. According to the Daily Mail, royal author Robert Jobson revealed in his forthcoming biography, The Windsor Legacy, that Prince William’s outlook on duty “frustrated” the Queen, a view which allegedly stemmed from her final engagement.

Princess Beatrice all smiles in surprise appearance as Andrew’s humiliation rumbles on

Princess Beatrice has made a surprise outing today as she continues to try and raise awareness of premature birth. Andrew Mountbatten Windsor’s daughter has launched the Borne’s World Prematurity Day campaign tonight as part of her role as the charity’s royal patron.

The princess, who gave birth early to her second daughter Athena this year, visited the Borne research laboratories at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital yesterday to learn more about the charity’s work into premature births. Today, the princess attended a special event alongside Borne Founder Professor Mark Johnson at Control Room B at Battersea Power Station.

Meghan Markle cracks 3-word joke about her acting skills as she’s spotted on film set

Meghan Markle appears to crack a three-word joke about her acting skills as she’s spotted on the film set for Close Personal Friends. The 44-year-old previously gave up her career as an actress upon getting engaged to Prince Harry in 2017, with speculation having recently grown over whether she would return to her roots since stepping down from royal duties in 2020.

And last week it was revealed that she will appear in a new Hollywood film. Pictured arriving on set in Pasadena, California, on November 5, she reportedly introduced herself simply as ‘Meghan’, with an insider sharing that “everything about her was very sweet and calm”.

The insider told PEOPLE: “She genuinely seemed excited to be on set”, with sharing that Meghan said that she felt “a bit rusty”.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s swipe at late Queen in blistering statement

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are believed to have taken a swipe at Queen Elizabeth II in 2020 when they confirmed they would no longer use their “Sussex Royal” brand for personal business ventures. After quitting royal life in 2020, Harry and Meghan were reportedly advised not to use their “Sussex Royal” titles for any financial or business purposes, as they should not monetise from their royal links.

With reports at the time suggesting that Harry and Meghan were reluctant to stop using such titles, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex eventually had their spokesperson pen a statement explaining that a new not-for-profit organisation they were setting up would not use the “Sussex Royal” brand name.

Call for Beatrice and Eugenie to be stripped of titles ‘before it ends in tears’

Failure to strip Andrew Mountbatten Windsor’s daughters, Beatrice and Eugenie, of their royal titles could end in “scrutiny, tears and abject humiliation”, a commentator has warned. Andrew was effectively banished from the royal family last month, stripped of his birthright as a prince, his dukedom and his home over “serious lapses of judgement” linked to his friendship with paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

His ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, also had her title as Duchess of York revoked, but the couple’s daughters, Beatrice and Eugenie, have so far retained their princess status.

‘No fuss’ Princess Anne spotted carrying her own luggage as she disembarks plane

Princess Anne has sent royal fans into a frenzy today after she was spotted carrying her own luggage as she disembarked a commercial flight. The Princess Royal, 75, flew to Brisbane today for her final engagements in Australia.

Rather than flying privately, the King’s sister boarded a commercial flight, showing that she really isn’t interested in the royal treatment. This was something noticed by fans, who have been quick to praise the no-fuss royal online as she spends her last day in the country before flying to Singapore.

Queen Camilla leaves commuters speechless as she’s pictured boarding train to London

The Queen left commuters speechless this morning when she boarded the 9.28am service from Chippenham in Wiltshire to Paddington in London. Camilla, 78, travelled on the busy train as part of the ‘Poppies to Paddington’ initiative to mark Armistice Day, where she laid a wreath on Platform 1.

Poppies to Paddington began during the November 2020 Covid lockdown as a way of marking the annual commemorations of the nation’s war dead. Setting off at dawn, more than 250 wreaths travel aboard 10 Great Western Railway services across its network, carried by veterans, railway staff, passengers, and schoolchildren, including pupils from a primary school in Chippenham who have crocheted 60 poppies for a special wreath.

Princess Kate narrowly avoids wardrobe mishap during poignant Remembrance ceremony

Princess Kate led the nation in remembering war heroes today as she stepped out solo at the National Memorial Arboretum. The Princess of Wales, 43, looked as elegant as ever as she attended the 30-minute ceremony on Tuesday, taking part in the two-minute silence and laying a wreath at the memorial in Staffordshire.

At the event, Kate sported two poppies on her military-style black coat, which she wore with a large-brimmed hat. While many fans have been quick to praise the princess’ appearance at the poignant ceremony, not everyone noticed the wardrobe mishap the future Queen only just managed to avoid.

Princess Anne’s clever comeback to avoid talking about Andrew after scandal

Princess Anne appeared to pose a clever comeback so that she avoided speaking about her disgraced brother Andrew Mountbatten Windsor in Australia. The 75-year-old arrived in Australia last week, with the royal now set travel to Singapore for two days.

During her appearance at a garden party marking the centenary of the Royal Australian Signal Corps, Anne met serviceman James Thorpe, who told her that he had previously encountered her “brother”.

In a prompt reply, Anne quickly responded: “Which one? I have three.”

He then clarified his reference by stating: “Ah, that’s the main one, Ma’am”.

GMB star faces backlash as she brands Britain and Royal Family ’embarrassing’

Good Morning Britain star Narinder Kaur has been slammed by her followers for labelling Britain and the Royal Family “embarrassing.” It comes after Donald Trump threatened to sue the BBC for $1billion, following accusations that the broadcaster had “misled” viewers by splicing together parts of a speech made by the US President.

The BBC confirmed it has received a letter from President Trump and will “respond directly in due course”. Two of the BBC’s most senior figures – chief executive of BBC News Deborah Turness and director-general Tim Davie – stepped down from their roles on Sunday amid the scandal.

Prince Harry issues scathing two-word update ahead of latest court case

Lawyers representing Prince Harry have accused the publisher of the Daily Mail of “drip-feeding” information ahead of an upcoming trial that will see the prince and six others bring legal action against Associated Newspapers Limited. The Duke of Sussex, 41, is among a group of seven that have accused ANL of carrying out unlawful activities against them such as hiring private investigators to place listening devices inside cars, “blagging” private records, and gaining access to private phone conversations.

ANL has denied these accusations against them, with a court trial date yet to be set. This is because at a hearing on Monday, the High Court heard that each side is awaiting further information from the other before they can fully prepare for the case.

Andrew Mountbatten Windsor set to get new title as Palace considers key change

Andrew Mountbatten Windsor is set to get a new title as Buckingham Palace is said to be considering a key change. After stripping the 65-year-old of all of his royal titles, including his princely title, Andrew was reintroduced as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor.

His name, however, was notably missing the hyphen that was traditionally used in the Royal Family double-barrelled surname. Officials have since confirmed that this was how it had been agreed with Andrew; however, the palace is now considering adding the hyphen in accordance with the wishes of the late Queen Elizabeth II.

Princess Kate fans rage as BBC make major blunder live on air – ‘B****y disrespectful!’

Princess Kate made a solemn appearance at the Armistice Day Service of Remembrance at the National Memorial Arboretum this morning – but the moment was overshadowed for many viewers when the BBC referred to her as “Kate Middleton” during its live broadcast. Royal fans watching from home erupted online, branding the stunt disrespectful.

The Princess of Wales, 43, stepped out in a commanding all-black ensemble, wearing a sharply tailored military-style coat and a dramatic wide-brimmed hat, a look that balanced elegance with the ceremony’s gravity. She joined veterans, military families, as well as senior officials in honouring the fallen.
