‘We didn’t see this coming…’: ITV rattled as shocking new ratings reveal the jungle titan has pulled in barely HALF the audience of The Celebrity Traitors finale… a brutal defeat that’s left fans questioning whether the once-untouchable giant is finally losing its crown…K

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! has been captivating British audiences since 2002 and a cool 7.3 million viewers tuned in on Sunday night to see the latest batch of brave celebrities take on jungle life.

Over the next three weeks, they will be put to the ultimate test as they live their lives away from the trappings of modern life – surviving, on occasion, on mere rice and beans and taking part in the notorious Bushtucker Trials.

But while the opening episode’s average viewership of 6.6 million people throughout its 90 minutes was impressive, a whopping 11 million people tuned in to see Alan Carr‘s unexpected win on the Celebrity Traitors earlier this month.

I’m A Celeb appears to be a real hit with younger viewers, with an 83% share of 16 to 34 year old viewers tuning in, despite TV viewership numbers in this demographic falling in recent years due to the popularity of streaming services and short-form video content.

Kelly Brook and Martin Kemp were among the stars who entered the jungle on Sunday night for the new series.

Over the next three weeks, the celebrities will be put to the ultimate test as they live their lives away from the trappings of modern life – surviving, on occasion, on mere rice and beans and taking part in the notorious Bushtucker Trials

Ten celebrities; Kelly, Martin, Eddie Kadi, Shona McGarty, Ruby Wax, Angry Ginge, Alex Scott, Aitch, Lisa Riley and Jack Osbourne have gone Down Under in a bid to be crowned King or Queen of the Jungle.

The survival reality show, presented by Declan Donnelly, 50, and Ant McPartlin, 49, sees celebrities take on insects and the dreaded Bushtucker Trials.

The launch episode ended with Ant and Dec heading into camp to reveal that Ruby and Ginge will face the first Bushtucker Trial of the series, named the Divey.

However, despite pulling in large viewership numbers, the opening episode got this year’s series off to a rocky start.

Fans are already calling for Ruby Wax to be axed from the new series after just one episode, claiming she is ‘rude, unlikeable and annoying’.

However actress Ruby’s behaviour is already causing heads to turn after some viewers said she was rude towards her fellow co-stars.

They first all met each other at a luxury mansion, where everyone appeared nervous but excited.

Ruby told Angry Ginge: ‘If you could just get out of my way because there are cameras there.’

The show proved to be equally popular by the time of its finale and grew in popularity to the point where 11 Million viewers tuned in to see Alan Carr’s shock win on the Celebrity spin-off

Meanwhile the mix of treachery and detective work has made The Traitors a standout hit for the BBC.

The addition of a celebrity version broke records, the opening episode alone attracting 6.5 million viewers,

marking the biggest-ever launch for The Traitors in the UK.

The number tops all previous premieres, including the civilian series opener in January which garnered 5.4million views.

Celebrity Traitors eventually

crossed the 10 million viewer mark, making it one of the BBC’s most successful reality show debuts in recent years.

According to the BBC, the first episode peaked at 6.5 million views with 52.7 percent of households with their televisions switched on tuning in. The premiere averaged at 6.1 million views with a 46.4 percent share.

Fans watched in awe and bewilderment as Alan took the crown and £87,500 prize for his chosen children’s cancer charity, despite his previous claims he was as bad a Traitor as series three star Linda Rands.

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues at 9pm tonight on ITV1 and ITVX.

Dancing with the Stars Prince Night: See the List of Songs and Dances for the Semi-Finals tram

The Dancing with the Stars ballroom is about to “Go Crazy” for the Semi-Finals.

Week 10 of the competition is Prince Night, a tribute to the late artist who gained acclaim in the 1980s for his iconic songs, such as “Purple Rain” and “Kiss.” Six couples remain in the competition — including stars Jordan Chiles, Robert Irwin, Whitney Leavitt, Alix Earle, Elaine Hendrix and Dylan Efron — who hope to make it past the Semi-Finals and earn their spot in the finale.

The night will kick off with an opening dance performed to Prince’s “Let’s Go Crazy.” Then, each couple will perform two routines to some of the legendary musician’s hits, including one in a style they have yet to dance this season, and another in a repeat style that gives them a chance to show their improvement.

Here’s everything to know about Dancing with the Stars Prince Night, including the songs and dances each contestant will be performing.

Robert Irwin and Witney Carson

Wildlife conservationist Irwin and his partner Witney Carson will dance a jive to “Baby I’m a Star” and a Viennese waltz to “WOW.”

“Semi-finals… here we come. See you tonight on @dancingwiththestars,” Irwin wrote on Instagram just before Prince Night. “We are so grateful to be here ❤️.”

Jordan Chiles and Ezra Sosa

Olympic gymnast Chiles and her pro partner, Ezra Sosa, will dance a jive to “Raspberry Beret” and an Argentine tango to “U Got the Look.”

It’s a full circle moment for the gymnast, who performed a floor routine with UCLA gymnastics to one of Prince’s hit songs in January 2025.

Chiles and Sosa shared plenty of laughs in the rehearsal studio this week as they practiced their tricks for the Semi-Finals, per the show’s Instagram.

Whitney Leavitt and Mark Ballas

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Leavitt and her pro partner, Mark Ballas, will perform a cha cha to “1999” and a Viennese waltz to “Slow Love.”

The pair were “hyping” each other up for the Semi-Finals in the studio, as Leavitt shared in a video clip on Instagram.

“Can’t express enough how grateful I am to be here 💜 the friendships and experiences I’ve had on this show have meant the absolute world to me and will cherish forever,” she captioned the post. “Can’t wait for you guys to see our cha cha and waltz tomorrow!”

Elaine Hendrix and Alan Bersten

Parent Trap actress Hendrix and her pro partner, Alan Bersten, will perform a foxtrot to “I Wanna Be Your Lover,” followed by a paso doble to “When Doves Cry.”

Per usual, the pair made plenty of silly TikToks in the studio ahead of the episode, and Bersten wrote on Instagram that he is “so proud” of Hendrix.

“Tomorrow is the semi finals!! I can’t believe it,” he captioned one of their videos. “Let’s do this!!”

Alix Earle and Val Chmerkovskiy

Social media star Earle and Val Chmerkovskiy will perform an Argentine tango to “Little Red Corvette” followed by a Viennese waltz to “Purple Rain.”

The pair got emotional in the studio this week. Earle shared a video on Instagram having a “heart-to-heart” with her pro partner, telling him she “[doesn’t] wanna leave” with tears in her eyes.

“Semi finals mood. So grateful to be here THANK U so much to everyone who has voted to keep us on 🥺 tune in tonight to watch us :)))),” Earle captioned the video.

Dylan Efron and Daniella Karagach

Traitors winner Efron and his partner Daniella Karagach will dance a tango to “I Would Die 4 U” and a cha cha to “Kiss.”

Ahead of the episode, Efron shared an Instagram video of them rehearsing some lifts, captioned, “Final push to the finale.”

Karagach commented, “We got this 💪🔥.”
