According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Hill underwent surgery to repair ligament damage in his wrist, head coach Mike McDaniel announced Tuesday.
McDaniels added that Hill will be out for most of the offseason as he recovers.
He further stated that, per NFL Network’s Cameron Wolfe, the plan is for Hill to resume catching drills near the start of training camp.
The eight-time Pro Bowler went viral this week, showing a video on social media earlier this week where you could not only see his new haircut but also a cast on his left wrist.
Tyreek Hill battled a wrist injury for much of the 2024 season but appeared in all 17 games. It still wasn’t enough to help the Dolphins into the playoffs.

Last season, Hill had 81 receptions for 959 yards and six touchdowns. Those numbers were his lowest marks since 2019.
No word has been stated on whether the five-time first-team All-Pro will still compete in a race against Olympic gold medalist Noah Lyles.

Tyreek recently expressed a desire to remain with Miami after previously suggesting he wanted to be traded following the 2024 campaign.
The 30-year-old apologized for his past comments as he cited frustration with how the season went. Hill missed the playoffs for the first time in his career.
The Dolphins finished with a record 8-9.
NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported Sunday that the Dolphins “do not plan to trade” Hill this offseason.
“It’s early; it’s always possible somebody makes the type of offer they can’t refuse, but it sounds like right now everything is tracking toward the Cheetah staying in South Beach,” he added.
Judge Rules Tyreek Hill Is The Father Of Little Girl With Fourth Baby Mama, Giving Him 12 Children Just Weeks After His Wife’s Pregnancy Announcement

Tyreek Hill is welcoming another member to his growing family.
This week, the Daily Mail reported that a Florida court declared the Miami Dolphins star wide receiver the father of a little girl, bringing his total to possibly four different baby mamas and over ten children.
Kimberly Kaylee Baker, 30, filed the paternity suit after her daughter was born in May 2023. She claimed the child was conceived after hooking up with Hill back in August 2022. Baker says Hill had been giving her $2,000 per month to support the child, but claims she requires $10,000 to properly care for her daughter.
Hill did not contest the results of the DNA test. Instead, his legal team argued that Baker, who resides in California, had no right to file the petition in Florida, where Hill currently lives.
His wellness influencer wife, Keeta Vaccaro, announced in May that she was expecting after she posted a picture of an ultrasound. Hill and Vaccaro have had their share of problems, with the couple filing for divorce earlier this year just to reconcile.
At the time, Tyreek Hill said that his “f–king bonehead lawyers” filed for divorce on his behalf without his permission some 76 days after the couple got married.

In February, Hill came to a confidential deal with Brittany Lackner after she filed a paternity suit against him, stating he was the father of her son, born in February 2023.
He was officially declared to be the one-year-old’s father.
“The parties agree and acknowledge that Tyreek Hill is the natural and biological father of the minor child, S.C.H, born in 2023,” according to the ruling of Judge Elaine Carbuccia, according to the Daily Mail.
“The parties freely and voluntarily entered into a Paternity Settlement Agreement and Parenting Plan on January 22, 2024, which globally resolves all issues attendant to this matter, which includes parental responsibility, timesharing, and child support.”
Tyreek Hill Doesn’t Deny Having At Least Ten Children
Tyreek Hill has a lot of children. He has three children from a previous relationship with ex-fiancee Crystal Espinal, meaning he had up to six children from four women.
However, during an interview on the ‘Million Dollaz Worth Of Game’ YouTube channel, he never denied claims that he might have over ten children.
During that eye-opening interview, Hill was asked by one of the hosts: ‘You play offense, but off the field, you’re the all-time leading tackler. You’ve got ten kids. You’re just a family man!’
Hill simply dropped his head but never confirmed the figure, which caused rapper Gillie Da King and Wallo to start laughing.
Hill eventually responded, “Yeah, man, I grew up in the south, man.”
