The Baltimore Ravens are among the best teams in the NFL and have been so since they entered the league. Due to their decent track record, they have had their fair share of NFL stars, but not all have perfect individual records.
One of the best players to have ever played for the franchise is Steve Smith Sr. While he may not have been his best during his swan song years with the franchise, he was undoubtedly a good player, either way you put it.
He was so good during his NFL career that he was nearly inducted into the Hall Of Fame in 2025. Smith Sr, whose son also plays in the NFL for the Ravens, earned himself a Hall Of Fame finalist nod in his fourth year of eligibility.
Now, after what could be one of the highlights of his life, it seems as though he is now experiencing a lowlight… Smith is reportedly accused of cheating on his wife, Angie Smith, of 25 years. The accusation comes as a bit of a shock.

A post with a screenshot of a Facebook repost by user Antonio Martinez has gone viral. The repost included someone who seemingly cheated on him. The post does not hold back any information, even taking shots at the former Baltimore Raven.

“Hi, I am Nicole Martinez, though I won’t be a Martinez much longer,” the post starts, before continuing even more brutally, “you see, I have been cheating on my husband… with the very famous Steve Smith Sr”
The post continues by pointing out that she recently bought a house and was arrested twice, but her husband stood by her. With the report coming from Antonio Martinez, it seems the post was made from Nicole Martinez’s account by her husband, who is looking to divorce her. The post even attaches pictures of the two’s conversation.
While the former Ravens and Panthers star has not officially commented on the matter, the accusations are insane, especially considering his marriage. It will be interesting to see how this all plays out in the near future.

Former NFL star wide receiver Steve Smith Sr. is now the talk of social media after being exposed for sleeping with someone else’s wife.
Smith, a former All-Pro and Pro Bowler, was one of the best pass-catchers of his era but has apparently gotten caught up in some drama as an angry husband has found evidence of an affair with his spouse and is calling him out over it.
The husband, who goes by the name Tony Martinez on X, first shared screenshots of a supposed raunchy conversation between Smith and his wife.

Martinez then shared a video of himself calling the NFL Network analyst to let him know he’d been busted.
“Hey, Steve. You’ve been [bleeping] my wife, bro. What do you have to say for yourself?” he’s heard asking.
A voice on the other end apologizes in a subdued and humble tone, remaining silent while being berated.

@SteveSmithSr89 you a b**ch. You talk a lot of s**t on tv but that’s all you about. Grab my pocket bitch,” he wrote as the caption.
“For those saying divorce her. Yeah No s**t. For those saying looks worse on me. I ain’t got nothing to lose,” he added.
The woman in question is understood to be a member of the Marching Ravens band. Smith spent a few seasons with the team at the tail end of his career.
It will be interesting to see whether he makes a statement now that this has come to light.
Meanwhile, Smith has been married since 2000, so this is quite the can of worms.
