Cat Deeley was reduced to tears on This Morning after Ben Shephard made a very rude joke at Paul Hollywood’s expense.
Today’s episode of the ITV chat show saw the celebrity baker, 59, show Cat, 48, and Ben, 50, how to make Chelsea buns.
They were also joined by actors Orlando Bloom, Bryce Dallas Howard and Nick Mohammed from the sofa, promoting their new action comedy film Deep Cover.
After introducing the film stars, Ben turned to Paul in the kitchen, saying: ‘We’ve got even more Hollywood in the studio as well, the legend that is Paul Hollywood himself.’
As the chef iced the buns, Cat said, ‘Oh, he’s drizzling as we speak, he’s drizzling!’, to which Ben quipped: ‘He never looks more attractive than when he’s drizzling.’

The whole studio erupted into laughter, with even the movie stars off-camera on the sofa and members of the crew unable to contain their amusement at the cheeky moment.
Actress Bryce gasped and clapped her hands together, laughing and giving co-star Orlando a wide-eyed look after Ben made the risque joke.
Paul said sarcastically, chuckling, ‘Thank you Ben’, to which the presenter replied, ‘Sorry Paul!’
Ben took off his glasses to wipe tears of laughter from his eyes, as Cat grasped her stomach as she tried to catch her breath and control the giggles.
He quickly tried to recover the show, tripping over his words as he began: ‘To forget that…’
Cat swiftly interjected, shouting to finish Ben’s sentence for him: ‘What are you making Paul?’
The celebrity baker said: ‘I’m making, well, I was making Chelsea buns, the classic.’
Presenter Ben, just about recovered from the hilarious moment, asked: ‘Are they a favourite of yours?’

Paul replied: ‘Oh yeah, they are, all my life.’
Ben, still with a hint of humour in his voice, responded: ‘Look at those, they do look delicious, don’t they?’
Today’s episode of This Morning also saw Ben and Cat sit down with Martin Kemp – who broke his silence after shocking fans with a very cheeky swipe at his sex life with wife Shirlie Holliman.
The 63-year-old musician shocked the Loose Women panel last month with a brutal bedroom confession in a conversation about scheduling intimacy with a partner.
The Spandau Ballet star, who has been married to Shirlie since 1988, was sceptical: ‘If I had to look in my diary and it says 7:30pm on a Thursday night, I’m going to do it… I don’t think it works.
‘I even feel under pressure if it’s a Sunday morning!… “Oh it’s Sunday morning, I’m going to have to do it in a minute”.’
So, when he appeared on This Morning today to promote his new book, hosts Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley could not resist asking about his outrageous confession.
Sitting down with Ben, 50, and Cat, 48, on the ITV chat show, he defended himself: ‘You cut out the bit where I say, “Get yourself ready Shirl, I’m coming home!”‘

‘We’re really open, sex isn’t taboo, never has been.’
Martin said this was a welcome change from his own upbringing: ‘Growing up, if we saw people kissing on TV, people would pretend to be asleep.
‘I’m really happy that we can joke about it.’
The star was taking to the This Morning sofa primarily to promote his new book, The Fall, a follow-up to his debut novel The Game, released in November 2023.
The new crime thriller, which came out today, again follows Johnny Klein, a past-it eighties pop icon whose dark past caught up to him in the series’ first instalment.
Having narrowly escaped, he is now living in the French Riviera in this newest book – but he finds there is no getting away so easily.
