The Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2025 was announced on Thursday night during the NFL Honors, and Eli Manning did not have his name called.
When the Pro Football Hall of Fame announced its Class of 2025 at the NFL Honors on Thursday night, the two-time Super Bowl MVP was among those who, unfortunately, didn’t get the call.
The first-time finalist in his first year of eligibility won two Super Bowls and was a four-time Pro Bowler.
Despite the disappointment, Eli Manning showed nothing but class as he spoke with NFL Network’s Jamie Erdahl on Friday’s edition of Good Morning Football to talk about not getting in on the first go-around.
“I had a feeling it wasn’t going to be my night, and I understand that,” Manning explained. “I’m totally at peace. It’s not gonna change my outlook on my career and how I feel about it.”
Pure class.

Does Eli Manning Have The Numbers And Accolades To Get Into The Hall of Fame?
The NFL announced its four-man class for the Pro Football Hall of Fame at Thursday’s NFL Honors ceremony, and former New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning was not among the four selected.
Manning was among the 15 semifinalists for the honor. Unfortunately, he failed to meet the 80% threshold required to earn enshrinement.
Manning won two Super Bowls against the New England Patriots and was named the MVP in both of those games.
Aside from that, he also had pedestrian numbers during his 16-year NFL career.
He holds the Giants’ franchise records for passing yards (57,023), touchdowns (366), and completions (4,895).
However, he also has 366 touchdowns and 244 interceptions.

Texas Longhorns quarterback Arch Manning is unlike other young quarterbacks because he has had the honor of growing up with and being taught by his famous uncles, Peyton and Eli.
The 19-year-old phenom, who is set to finally take over as a starter in the 2025 season, might seem like he has had everything handed to him, but that isn’t quite the full story.
Arch Manning revealed this week that his uncles used to bully him, but there was a reason behind the treatment.
“Back in the day, Eli and Peyton used to kind of bully me, so it was good, give wedgies and stuff like that,” Arch said during an interview with ESPN on Thursday. “You just gotta make the younger guy tough. My brother and I, we went through it a little bit, it was good.”
Peyton Manning hasn’t been shy about the bullying, as he revealed on the ManningCast on ESPN that Eli would bully him a bit when the two were growing up:
“I was trying to take a nap, and I was in a corner bed, and he came up behind me, he kind of had me leveraged into the wall, and he gave me a wedgie, he almost went atomic with it,” Peyton said, referring to an atomic wedgie. “I was about to be asleep, I was so angry, basically, because the nap was interrupted, but the atomic wedgie was like an added bonus. He was so proud, we almost threw down, but I was in pain and I couldn’t fight to well.”
Manning, who is considered one of the most promising quarterback prospects in recent memory, is getting set for the season of his life.
