Football fans had all sorts of wild reactions after Philadelphia Eagles legend Jason Kelce showed up to the team’s Super Bowl 59 parade on Friday.

Jason Kelce spent his entire 13-year career with the Eagles that spanned from 2011 to 2023, leading them to the franchise’s first Super Bowl title in the 2017 season. The former All-Pro center was admittedly divided about whether he wanted the Eagles or younger brother Travis Kelce and the Chiefs to win Super Bowl 59.

On their latest episode of the “New Heights” podcast, Jason fought back tears as he explained the difficulty of choosing between the two.

Jason Kelce wasn’t going to miss the Eagles’ Super Bowl celebration, though. Cameras caught him posing with team owner Jeffrey Lurie for a photo as the ladder held up the Lombardi Trophy:

However, reactions to Kelce’s appearance were mixed, perhaps because he admitted that it was hard to root against his younger brother.

“Hopefully he made sure Travis was okay with it beforehand,” one fan said.

“He is not wearing eagles gear. Plain green sweatshirt. Super Bowl hat. Why Jason? Why? He could at least have an eagles hat on….oh well. GO BIRDS!!!,” said another.

“When you’re not on the team anymore, you lose the privilege of holding the trophy…,” wrote a fan.

“He’s so mad they won,” quipped a fan.

“He’s fine. His brother got destroyed. He’s fine. He’s an Eagle all day,” said another.

“Nobody is mad that Jason is at the parade dude stop,” another wrote.

“He’s butt hurt. Tired of the Kelce’s” another wrote.

The Eagles soundly defeated the Chiefs 40-22 in Super Bowl 59, denying Patrick Mahomes and company of a three-peat.

Jason Kelce Shouldn’t Be Blamed For Feeling Conflicted

Kelce spent his entire career with the Eagles, who turned him into a Hall of Fame-caliber player. Travis is his younger brother. Of course, it’s okay to be conflicted, and nobody should mock Jason for feeling this way.

VIDEO: Nike Appears To Mock Patrick Mahomes With Kermit The Frog Song In New Commercial Celebrating The Eagles’ Super Bowl Win

Nike appeared to take a savage shot at Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes in an ad commemorating the Philadelphia Eagles’ Super Bowl win on Sunday.

Mahomes was mostly ineffective on the night, with fans and analysts alike suggesting he played the worst game of his career as the Eagles had their way with him. Vic Fangio put on a defensive masterpiece that saw the front four constantly pressure the QB, sparing nothing in the backfield as he refrained from blitzing.

The aforementioned sportswear company, which sponsors multiple Philly players, including Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley, has since released an ad in which they appear to shade Mahomes.

The clip, which starts off with Barkley dropping a catch against the Atlanta Falcons and scenes from the Eagles’ loss to the Chiefs at Super Bowl 57, also features Kermit the Frog’s “Bein’ Green” song from the first season of Sesame Street.

Check it out below:

Patrick Mahomes Is Cool With The Kermit Jokes

Patrick Mahomes is often compared to the green Muppet because of the way he speaks, so it’s easy to see why no one would doubt this Nike ad is throwing shade.

The Chiefs QB also has an endorsement deal with their longtime rivals, Adidas.

Mahomes hasn’t shied away from the comparison and recently leaned into it after being asked for his best Kermit expression by a reporter during Super Bowl week.

“I’m talking right now, that’s it,” he said.

Sure, Nike may have simply been going along with the Eagles’ green theme and the challenges they faced in their return to the top, yet it’s more fun to think otherwise.
